I would have preferred Clide use the nukes to force an engagement, instead of forcing Trickster to avoid it. You start forcing Trickster to move around, Clide could send smaller forces to hit other areas

Could make a lot more ghosts with those nukes. Props to Clide for trying though.

You sacrifice a LOT of early economy to get that ghost out. Your damn right it better kill 15 probes. Its probably an even trade. A second ghost prob woulda really paid for it though.

Well, you protoss have dts? Wouldn't that force the terran to go turrets or raven?  Not quite the same, DT's take much longer to get + terrans can deal with them with a building they make anyway, gotta somewhate anticipate them tho. Also ghosts are by far the best terran unit in PvT lategame so the investment doesn't matter too much, DT's are useless lategame since archons are countered by ghosts. Don't get me wrong I don't think those builds are unbalanced, it just forces Protoss to get a quick robo every single game. People have been complaining for a long long time that protoss doesn't have enough variety, this only makes it worse. Well have you thought about the fact that observers are dirt cheap compared to the raven, and observers are far more mobile considering they are cloaked... When a protoss choose to not get a robo he is playing very greedy. Not saying it's not greedy or unfair or whatever, but remember that observers 1) cost gas, which is a HUGE deal, 2) take some of your colossus production away, and 3) serve no other purpose than scouting, unlike the raven which is worth far more than it costs in many situations.
Observers are still super cheap. 75 gas is not a huge deal. Overseers cost 50 min 100 gas on top of 100 min for overlord and aren't even invisible. Yeah, they have contaminate, the best spell in the game (/sarc) but observers are still super cost effective.

They did fine. They wern't to kill the protoss army.... they were there to essentially keep the protoss away so he has to take the long path around. Many of the nukes he was was doing in the center of the map were during the time he was attacking the 4th and 5th.
