To be fair, to the people that actually paid for the NASL, that means they paid for 9 weeks of iNcontroL and Gretorp. Meaning, the people who actually paid are most likely fine with Gretrol. I don't mean that means they prefer them over Tastosis, but the point needs to be considered, and also people need to shut up and stop whining about everything.

Gretorp and incontrol are vastly inferior to any other casting combo that they could field right now. Putting your worst team on the finals, and what should be a series of great games, is a disservice to your paying fans and the community. It doesn't surprise me that NASL would ignore all feedback and pursue their own self-serving course, they've been doing it since day 1.

Not having Tastosis cast the finals is like CBS flying in Al Michaels and Cris Colinsworth for the super bowl but using Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf instead.

That's not how life works, it doesn't matter that it's a dick move, they are clearly much worse than other options available to cast the finals and it would benefit everyone except incontrol/gretorp to have better people casting.

you dont reward 2 people who have put their life into casting the 'boring' part of this tournament doing 10 weeks, just to give the finals, the biggest gig of their casting lives probably, to other people, no matter how good they are. NASL are trying to cement themselves as a professional organisation. Learn some business ethics then come back and cry you tool


Depends on the situation actually. It happens plenty in professional organisations that finals are casted by the best people and not the ones who put in the most work, but in this case I feel that it would be an absolute dick move agreed. It's not a case of who put in the most work, but Gretop iNcontrol were pretty much doing the only work for a very long time.

Game chat is pretty ridicolous, everyone who doesnt agree with the casters for the finals gets insta banned, not a good way to deal with complaints of paying people
