Can anyone explain why Moon has this stigma of not being a great player? Lackluster GSL result?

He moved to SC2 late and had terrible, terrible results early and everyone dismissed him. He's gotten quite beastly now with solid practice and afaik is no longer playing any wc3 at all.

Because he was playing SC2 like WC3 in the beginning - micro oriented.
And had bad macro - played very agressive 1 or 2 bases for shorter games.

Well that is a legit reason to make over 100 banelings imo

Well, Catz was right. You invite the Koreans to NASL/MLG, they take the whole thing. Foreigners have no incentive to play this game anymore.

And there is a reason why I, and so many other more "casual" less "die-fucking-hard" SC2/eSports fans only watch the GSL when a "Foreigner" is playing......
Before you know it, SC2 will be just like BW

Good. I don't want to see random GM players playing. If I wanted that I'd check out the streams on TL or some weekly cup. I want to watch actual professionals that play for a living, not lazy foreigners that wander around their house all day and maybe play 10 games a day at best.

Sounds like nada hahaha. Too bad nada rapes everyone.

who is up next?

sen zenio

If there's anyone here who could take a game off a Korean, it's Sen.

Both of them are frickin' maestros at ZvZ, it should be good.

I think that Zenio takes more unnecessary risks, so i am pretty sure he will take this, but you never know with ZvZ, it is a pretty crazy match up.

That doesn't make any sense. You want the weaker player to win?

You can't apply that logic...
You're the asshole that says
"I support the best team, in the game of footy on the weekend..."

The reason so many people watch sports/esports is because they have "home favourites"

You're allowed to have a heart/root for an underdog. You don't always have to support the best.
Play the games!

I really wish foreigners would take things more seriously and practice more ... Huk did, and it has paid huge dividends.

In a recent SOTG idra stated that his mechanics were so good that practicing wasn't as useful for him anymore, and this kinda of attitude is just being shown time and time again to be erroneous.

I hope the systematic smack down of foreigners in recent tournaments encourages our professional players to practice like they are professional players. Practicing your job 3 hours a day because all of NA only does that will not cut it.

i don't think they will. the few that are willing to try are moving to korea like huk/jinro/fxo/nani/thorzain the rest is happy enough with winning something. the foreigner who will stay outside of korea will have no chance, not even with those progaming houses like eg/reign because they just will lack the structure and desire of the players to practice really really hard.
sad story kinda but... at least we will see more epic sc2 games from koreans
