Yeah, the LAN's have been a little rough since Logan has been back in Kentucky. We've been looking at scheduling another for some time now.. considering DC or NY. There is also a lan center that we just found in Jersey, but its kind of small.. only like 15 computers I think

wow the players in the finals played for like 6 hours straight lol gj everize and illusion. Did everize really beat a korean pro from prime ? That's pretty awsum.
seems like illusion had a much easier path to the finals considering everize also beat slayersboxer in ro32 who must have managed to sneak in playing in hypercrew while waiting for his nasl grand finals matches... ^_^

yeah, despite being a 64 player tournament, it went on fairly late; there were some incredibly long matches. The last match of the finals was a 60 minute TvT on Shakuras.. the VOD will be available soon..

Thread has been updated. Hyper Crew Open #21 is now open for registration. Updated the map pool slightly - replaced typhoon peaks with dual sight.

I suggest you add GSL Crevasse, Bel'Shir Beach, and maybe GSL Terminus SE to the map pool.
I think you should remove Scrap Station and Shakuras Plateau. No tournaments use Scrap anymore and Shakuras favors PvZ (38.6% ZvP win rate) Source.
Even if you don't remove it, I think it'd be best for everyone if you change the designated map in the semi-finals (Shakuras) and the Ro8 (Testbug). Testbug is a difficult map for Protoss - many complain its Zerg/Terran favored. Perhaps use Dual Sight and one of the maps I suggested as the designated map for Ro8/Semifinals.

Thank you for your thoughtful input. We went ahead and make some changes to the map pool. Dual sight is now the semi-finals map, and shakuras plateau is an optional. Scrap Station and Typhoon Peaks have been completely removed. Testbug will stay as the ro8 map.
I didn't know about that Shakuras Statistic, rather interesting.

@Torte de Lini If you're still keeping tabs on this thread, there is an error on the tournament tracker entry. This week, as well as last week, it says the prize is nothing. I'm positive I put '$20' in the prize pool box upon submission.

Yeah I am, but the prize money was never a point of interest (it's all about the awesome matches and match-ups!),so I didn't make note of the actual prize :B

Thanks for the words of support; we were appreciate it ^^. It's definitely not about the money, but I just want to make sure I'm submitting properly. The prize pool will be increasing somewhat dramatically in the near future.

Its an open tournament, these players made it through. Dont blame hypercrew for results of players. They also dont really have a way to confirm if they are cheating.

All in all they are good maps. Just wish I could play some of them more frequently, but of course that is blizzards responsibility.
