And Moon's 6 pool wasn't some dumb risky move (though it was a risky move), I could see july doing the same thing in that situation. As a protoss there is always a lot of uncomfortable moments after you hold off an early pool like that (see whitera vs july in the gslwc) because you are forced to play blind for a long time. I honestly thought huk was dead when he didn't add a cannon after taking his nexus. And for those who wanted to see longer games between the finalist, you a can always watch their group matches which were quite amazing as well. | ||

If you are 100% confident you will always defeat a player with a standard opening and are 1 win away from taking $16,000 then you perform a standard opening. its unfortunate that Day[9] was basically a caricature of himself at DreamHack. he should watch Artosis and his brother and do like them. when Day[9] describes a secret proxy or some hidden tech he hushes his voice as though some golf pro is trying to sink a 50 foot putt to win the US Open. its a bit much. maybe we was just having a bad weekend. it would be nice if as these events increase in profitability and paid attendance levels they would pay the casters for longer preparation time. | ||
