Sadly it seems I have to put this up yet again. Any of the following types of posts will be met with immediate bans:

Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining/Off topic arguing.

Stick to the games and enjoy the event and its free services and coverage.

extremely epic event! so glad that a korean player didn't win it all like at mlg (even though I love the koreans, especially MMA). Perhaps this will make Huk perform even better than previously.

Huks won more money today than IdrA ever has combined.

Yeah, 15000$ for a single-elimination tourney really blows my mind, what was DH thinking....

You could point out that it is in swedish most of the time, and only english when doing interviews with non-swedish players.

The sc2 production around the finals was really good though.

I'm pretty sure Idra's career winnings are more than this DH event's first place prize, if you include his BW career.

Just like GSL offering $100k for single elimination?

Congrats HuK showing that hard work can pay off and I hope it carries over to the GSL . Idra on the otherhand saying he only practices 2-3hrs a day and that showed too as he only just scraped out of his group

stream "earnings" arent winnings so they dont really count in the discussion of winnings dude but idra defs has won a lotta cash in his career so i dunno how accurate this statement is ( coming from a huk fan too )

Good GSL players get to pick their bracket positions as a reward.

Huk got Predy (35% TvP) -> Socke (56% PvP) -> July (51% pvz) -> Moon (33% pvz)

IdrA would have got MC (64.29% PvZ) -> Bomber (68.75% TvZ) -> Moon (66% ZvZ)

All the top koreans were on the bottom of the bracket.

Dreamhack NEEDED a losers bracket if they are going to do random draw.

Bo3 in Ro8 is allready bullshit....

I was a little sad about that, too. A Bo5 finals is ok. I don't think it necessarily needs a Bo7. On the other hand, the event was a great viewing experience, showing every single game of the group stages and the main bracket. Bo3 just guarantees that you don't have delays on the last day, which I understand that they did it.

On topic: GRATS HUK! I literally couldnt stay to watch the finals I was so nervous...I took a nap and decided to sleep through it because I was so skerd

Didn't get to watch those games but semis was a Bo3?? ...Wtf?

And congratulations to HuK! I always thought he was a little overrated in the past, but he seems to have improved a lot - this is a big win! The final series looks exciting after reading the Live Reports. That hatchery cancel game sounds interesting... so I guess HuK messed up the scouting and didn't see the hatch, and then ended up preparing for the all in anyway? Pretty bizarre

All 2/3 of them? Sorry, there is no other way to split 3 players into 2 sides of a bracket.

yeah but when you play in the gsl you have a lot of time to practise for each match while in dreamhack you get 1 matchup you are bad at and you are out, because you dont have any time to practise it
anyway congrats to HuK, played really impressive!
