Sadly it seems I have to put this up yet again. Any of the following types of posts will be met with immediate bans:

Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining/Off topic arguing.

Stick to the games and enjoy the event and its free services and coverage.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO my Bomber v huk finals T_T Dreams crushed. HuK, avenge my dream by crushing Moon into green cheese, and kick his ass all the way back to WC3!

Haha! Bomber loses a bo3 vs a Zerg at an international event and now people are like "Bomber really needs to work on his TvZ". Give me a break, everyone can play bad from time to time, even top Koreans, it doesn't mean anything.

Fari enough, but I still get a sense that his TvZ isn't quite as strong as his TvP. Then again these days TvZ is probably the more difficult match up for most of the top Korean terrans as they seem to be running rampant over toss.

IdrA beat MC 2-0 in pool-play. How did that one go ?

Try to use your brain. You generalize a situation based upon a match (which was a very weird match cause of IdrA strange personnality). When you 2-0 a guy, you are the favorite if the game is one day after the 2-0 in general, so don't be silly (and I don't say it's an easy win for Huk)

Nah, MC was jetlagged the first day -- and it was the first game of the tournament --. MC would probably lose to Idra at most a game or two out of 10 in normal circumstances.

I would give Moon a 55% and Huk a 45% chance since Huk really nervous when it comes to the big games. Moon on the other hand is immue to pressure from his vast experience in WC3.

Hope that it will be an epic final!

What maps are they using for the finals?

This finals result is making me smile so much, mainly because both Huk and Moon have been plagued by haters in these threads all weekend.

Almost? No SC2-player except maybe Grubby comes even close to the number of tournaments Moon attended, hell I doubt any of them attended as many tournaments as Moon won.

You shouldn't underestimate the amount of tournaments WC3 had :p

Well there is a guy called Nada in sc2 you know

what international tournaments were there in bw besides WCG? (where koreans attended obviously=

IEF, Blizzcon and Blizzard WWI

BW players didn't care much for international events

We are talking about international tournaments, not PL/MSL/OSL.

They have a different format you have to get used to.

The number of international tournaments WC3 had is magnitudes higher than the amount BW had.

I hope DH takes notes and improves in future events, by making semis and maybe quarters aswell bo5 and bronze match/grand final bo7. Nevertheless awesome games, can't wait for 3rd place match not to mention grand final. HuK fighting!

They have already improved As far as i remember last Dreamhack(winter) had BO1 in group stages. That was pretty hilarious.

Bo3 Semi-Finals is inexcusable imo

Can you think of another big tournament that has only BO3?

There you have 2 before you are completely wiped out, which kind of makes up for it.

But losing 2 games to dumb Zerg cheeses and then not being able to show off one of the best TvPs in the world is pretty disappointing (He took out fucking MC....)

I would like you to point the dumb Zerg cheese moon executed.

Zergs attacking before the 10 minute mark = cheese, clearly.

At least Bomber will get a chance to show if he was off his game or if his ZvT is just that bad. I'm looking forward to his match vs. July.

Or maybe Bomber's just sick? Anyone tweet it? lol.

wow a perfect finals. I really like both players and wouldn't mind seeing either of them win. Still haven't watched any games (except the July-Thorzain series) due to lag though.

July vs Bomber is not THAT interesting, as they are team-mates and probably don't care who takes third place (they probably share some of the prize money with their team anyway).

Not in a million years, a dreamhack win does not mean you get a free entry to code S -__-.

Why not, Ace got a spot because of his IEM win when IdrA left, I would love it so much if they would do that. Moon is Code S level, or at least Code A, and that way he doesn't have to go through the grueling qualifiers.

Moon couldn't even stay in Code A. So it's pretty hard to say he's code S level. If he wants the spot, he's going to have to earn it by playing through Code A like the rest of Koreans i imagine. And that's like saying why shouldn't it go to MMA because he won MLG? Or DRG because he won the special tourny?

Moon is certainly looking MUCH better than he did then. Who's to say he wouldnt keep his code A spot this time or even get to code S. Just because a player has shown bad performances in the past doesnt mean they won't get better.

What i have seen are great games. But there are some people who only see 'bad players', 'mistakes' 'bad play'. Whats up with that...

I'm not hating on him as a player, i think he's improved a lot and who knows, maybe he can play in Code S and compete. In fact i like a lot of aspects in his play (not so much others but hey, every player has weaknesses) But i think he's got to earn it the same way that every other Code S player has. Not get given it on a plate because he won an event completely irrelevant to GSL that only 4 Koreans went to and very few got invited. Because it just opens pandora's box tbh and that's never a good thing.

I'll just like to note that on the overlay they put up during the GSL Group Selections broadcast they did mention that they may give the Code S seed to MLG and IEM winners. Not sure if there were more, but if he wins Dreamhack, there could be a possibility that they put him straight into the Up/Down matches much like they did with Ace for Idra's spot.

I'll give the edge to HuK since he beat him in pool play. I think the time/effort HuK has put into his game is paying off, and now hes gunna reap the benefits by winning this tournament. Its your time to shine HuK, kick some ass buddy!
