Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of:
Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining
Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it. |

That + Caster lineup made MLG better.
The crowd in the main stage is also pretty mellow/subdued.
But I'll give a lot of that to them not seeing the players.

Um no. The argument is that Huk represents the Korean playstyle in foreign tournaments. He is essentially a Korean Starcraft player because the majority of his training, and all in the past six months, has been massing games on the Korean ladder, teamgaming with Koreans, and following their regime along with them. In this case Jinro and Haypro are also Korean starcraft players (while obviously nationally being foreigners) which means Koreans have done worse, whereas if they aren't considered Korean only Moon lost.

Lmfao... Socke seems to not give a crap about denying the overlord scout as he first sends a zealot to it, and then eventually sends a stalker (15 or so seconds after it was visible) and leaves Sentries behind, and the ovi sees the tech even though it was sitting still until it got attacked. -_-

Socke Vs Ret Current score: 1-1 Map: Metalopolis time: 9:00
Socke harasses with three DTS, Ret saves his main with blocking roaches

Yeah, I think Sen would've preferred to face Mana and simply outclass him with mechanics. July's mechanics are stellar and Sen can't outclass him that way. He'll have to beat him some other way, ie with better ZvZ understanding.

In the context a lot of people are using the word "foreigners" it makes sense to not count Huk as one. Unless people actually think Koreans actually are better by nature it doesn't really fit. By a lot of peopla people I mean the ones that argues (for or against) if foreigners can compete with Koreans. Since Huk's been living in Korea, practised in a pro-house for quite a while, he is really not relevant to the discussion unless, as I said, people are just arguing that it's in the Korean genetic makeup to be better at starcraft. It doesn't make him Korean but still you get my point.
