Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of:
Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining
Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it. |

I can kinda imagine Hasuobs beating Bomber. Sase vs Sen hard to call too.
The rest should be fairly easy to pick I think.

MC is in the upper bracket? So it should be MC vs Bomber finals or what?

The point of the round robin is to advance and get an easier opponent for the 16 (#2 in another group). Sure it's not that common to get the same opponent in later in the bracket but it's not unheard of and I don't see why it necessarily have to be a bad thing.

only RO16 is today..rest is tomorrow. on a monday. worst idea ever

Close matches will be:
Socke vs. Ret Nani vs. BRAT_OK White-ra vs. Moon MC vs. IdrA SaSe vs. Sen
The rest should be roflstomps with July, Bomber and Huk walking all over their opponents.

I'm tweaking it by adding a cheese sandwich at 15.

Awful, awful brackets. All the good koreans in the same side of the brackets? What a waste of talent....

The draw would be still ok if they just put pairs in opposite brackets.
I mean f.e. Nani vs Bratok is G1 so Socke vs Ret is G8.
That solves all :>

Imho:
Socke > Ret Bratok > Naniwa
HuK > Predy Moon > White-RA
July > Mana Bomber > HasuObs
IdrA > MC SaSe > Sen

They are still on schedule. It will be interesting to see when they release what is played when and where, but Ro16 was scheduled to start in 19 minutes, and it still might.

day9 HOLY SHIT! I'm casting Naniwa vs BRAT_OK followed by oGsMC vs EGIdrA. Holy shit. www.justin.tv/day9tv

Only chance for PvP was if Group E or G hit groups F or H in the draw (the latter 2 were the only groups P got 2nd not first), despite half the players qualified being P.

Both the Champions League and the Europa League have a free draw from the quarters and onwards.

It would be nice if there was seeding done by some international ELO ranking or something, so we didn't get lopsided brackets all the time. Not that this bracket is that bad, but in general that would be nice to see more consistent seeding rather than just random.
