He did beat TLO and get I think 3rd in that one European tournament not too long ago. 1 point and only 1 point stopped him from tieing Idra in his group. He took down Kas' TvP.... Grubby is only going to continue to improve and I think will soon be a top protoss contender. Really disappointing he couldn't make it further in this one but the results are still positive in my view. He has a lot to hang his hat on getting to tie idra in matches in clearly a very tough and closely matched group.
OH SWEET as I'm typing this Grubby Vs Idra (top 3 fav's along with Huk and his top 3 control (SRSLY HE IS)) is up on Day9's archives ^^ eh he didn't play that well honestly, considering how good that group was i (and many others in this thread) were disappointed with most of the games from that group we were very impressed by sase who managed to demolish everyone (including idra) in his path but everyone else was just meh, not even idra really deserves to advance considering the way he played today, compared to how the people that advanced from other groups played
Umm yeah just watched Idra Grubby g1 and Grubby could have easily taken that match and take Idra out of the tourny. If Grubby had pulled back after taking down the hydraden and 2nd natural and regrouped it would have completely rolled Idra and everyone in this thread would have a different opinion of him. Regardless of a few sloppy engagements for idra he played his usual flawless macro game. You shouldn't discard the impressiveness of Grubby's play and near victory in that game.
I would like to know how the Kas-Grubby match went, was it close? Obviously Kas didn't play it perfectly since he lost but did he look completely out of character dropping 2 ina row?

The guys who are still casting BYOC are the real heros.^^

Enjoying Dreamhack so much. <3 Watching him play, it's clear that he decided his whole course of action before he landed in Sweden. He doesn't care what his opponent is doing- rather, he just does the "build" that he came up with regardless. I don't know how BW is played, but you must play a more reactionary style in SC2, imo.
It has nothing to do with BW. BW is just as reactionary as SC2 is. Tyler just doesn't practice that much anymore (and he's said it himself).

Can't he just go to bed, and make it a walkover? He'll get 2nd place and still get seeded in the main tourney.

Any links for Thorzain vs July?

When will the rest of Group E's games be played? Not till tomorrow, or will they finish group play today? Also GO HUKKKKeep 2-0 WINNING!! Right now Huk is looking very strong with only 2-0's while his fellow tied 2-0ers both dropped a game and Lalush even dropping 2. Although his toughest matches are yet to come..... well I thought bischu was pritty good but maybe not as strong as I thought.... I'm feeling (and hoping) that he could, not so easily, win the group 5-0 or mayyybe 4-1 :b Or at least take 2nd with prime position to overcome a tie with Lalush.
Am I wrong about this or does it seem as though Group E is probably the weakest group going just by name?????
2-0'ing Tarson was huge for the Pride Of Canada as this is one of the better players of the group nearly winning against Moon, and I can assume will at least take a game off Lalush if not a match.

They'll play the rest of group play tomorrow. Honestly, HuK made those games look ridiculously simple and easy. He played them all so fast. I just hope he doesn't have to try and rely on that for all of his games... let's see a grueling macro game! Between him and MC, I've got some serious rooting to do. :D

Guys I've some questions.
