July is better than Moon in ZvT and ZvP. Overall, July has better mechanics and game sense than Moon, but Moon has a better understanding of the ZvZ MU.

Atm i would prefer a double elimination that MLG has insted of these brackets ![]()

Moon is still a very good player, people just expect too much from him. I doubt he's practicing a lot though. Warcraft fans are the only ones expecting too much from him. From a spectator, you can just see how bad he is. Is he even in Code A anymore?

And Grubby is also more awesome, which counts. what matters is Idra beat Grubby. Idra moves on because of this. its not about score, 7-6 or 6-5. its about who beat who.

As far as I can tell the rules say Idra advances.

So atm I think the liquid team, grubby, EGMachine, etc. etc. could use improvements. I would hate to judge grubby on how good he is in WC3 and rather how good he is in SC2. We should respect him I guess on past achievements, but not until he starts showing better results that I will think he is a better player or will shine through. Why does he get privileged because of his achievements in a completely different game. He does not deserve all the tournament invites whatsoever and gets stomped by almost everyone. Today he had the best matches of his sc2 career so far btw, so don't pretend he's on an equal skill level as morrow/kas/etc. I don't hate him at all, he's a cool guy and I watch his stream sometimes because he plays aggressively with nice micro, but still..

Which should mean IdrA in all possible situations unless he did withdraw. Which i kinda doubt because i haven't seen any twitter update or FB from Eg about that.

It's like this in the NASL too I think, but not in many other things (like American Football divisions). Does anyone have a link to rules?
