Just to end the debate, a note on Day9&Apollo's stream says Sase and Idra advanced.

I used to kind of like Idra but lately I've just been finding myself cheering every time he loses. I feel exactly the same way. I dunno why, but I just really, really want him to lose now, I formerly considered myself a huge fan. Maybe it's because he has so many fans now.
Hipster :p

hrm? I think most people expected it to be a shoot out between Idra, Kas, and Sase. It just ended up being a clusterfuck because Kas had a terrible day and Idra played poorly too.
Merz, Naama, and Grubby aren't gems at least, just solid second tier players.
Unless you mean Sase, but he's hardly hidden xD

I think it just turned out to be more of a balanced group than people thought... biggest reasons being Kas and IdrA not playing up to the level they should.
But Naama and Grubby are much better than people give them credit for. Merz was a big surprise to me though.

oh.. seems like Foreign terrans doesn't know how to play None of the Terrans in those groups are on the same calibre as the Protoss and Zergs that have advanced. I haven't even seen BratOK before this tournament since like the beta/early release so I can't comment on him.
Edit: Oh, except Kas, I expected him to do advance. Still, he's not as good as the others.
