The remaining players are put into 5 groups of 4 with the winners going into the final bracket and the open winner being the 16th participant. | ||

The NASL is encouraging players to throw their games so they get into better groups, or making it so that the games don't matter. The result seems to be an entire day of weird or bad games. Can the admins revise the rules so that this doesn't happen? I mean I don't think anyone minds an occasional game played for laughs but this is just too much. | ||

Yea between the select and MC games (wich i was looking forward too) and then the games today, this is rather annoying..... I was really lookiing forward to some of the matchups today, i think it was really dissapointing for the casters as well, they come in to cast some supposedly epic games, and are there for less than 50 minutes as no one took it seriously. | ||

Clearly somebody hasn't really thought the ruleset through. Then again, we're talking about a league that realized they were using outdated map versions 3 weeks into the playoffs. Between that, releasing the 'behind the scenes' Painuser video, the production quality actually getting worse after a brief improvement I can't see myself resubscribing after this season is over to be honest. | ||
