You forgot to add Option 3: TT1 wanting to shit in IdrA's mouth. u do realize that most of idra's fans actually are quite normal... it's just that for every reaction there's an equal and opposite reaction... we won't allow people's dirty laundry thrown on idra
Actually no. Idra fanboys are by far the most annoying thing about this site.

He still hasn't relinquished that title. Hmm you still think hes top foreigner? id say hes up there... but i would have him at least tied with some people if not down the list a few spots personally.

I thought IdrA not gg'ing was pretty standard.
I'm not sure what is more annoying, IdrA not gg'ing or his competitors/frienemies pretending to be surprised.

Jinro has been more successful in Korea, and I can think of several players I would take over Idra in a BoX, Naniwa/Thorzain/ect. Idra is top tier. But he is by no means the dominant foreigner or even the undisputed best foreigner.

Thats a great attitude to have. Im an American and its easy for me to understand why our esports scene is so far behind the Koreans. People like you and Idra just dont care. This wouldnt even be an issue if this were an actual sport amirite?????

It's not "IdrA not gging" people are mad about, it's "IdrA not gging the man who built StarCraft as an eSport".

You especially DO NOT FUCK WITH BOXER. Greg I hope you enjoy continuing to lose games and the rest of that quickly receding hairline. you might want to read this thread. this is a different issue than the stuff that thread is trolling on if you read milkis' blog on working for MLG as a translator a lot of the korean players have the perspective that the entire NA scene acts like idra the NA scene will never take off until the Korean scene takes us seriously for various reasons which is why you see gratuitous amounts of manner from players like incontrol i'm fairly certain it matters not one whit what the korean netizens think of us, and wont affect e-sports in any way in the foreign side. The scene will do well or fail for other more important and less obvious reasons you ever stop to think about more than just "the esports scene" and about the reputation of the country a player represents? uhm, idra isnt our representative for other countries, hes not in the olympics, he plays a video game for a living that doesn't get respect from 99% of the population anywhere. I would say there are many much more widespread and known people than idra that could fill that roll.. idk say perhaps Obama, or any one of our ambassadors? or people in sports with a fanbase of many millions? or our troops when not in the states?

I must politely disagree with you on that. Traditionally the "gg" (I speak for BW as well as SC2) is a pillar of StarCraft manner, and if he deviates from it the community should have a right to say something about it. Maybe not do anything about it, but say something. Agreed, its not like anyone thinks that a game they lost is a good game to play for the most part (at least someone like idra who is usually quite bitter about losing) Also the fact that he GG'd everyone else in the NASL (except maybe zenio didnt see those) and then doesnt GG boxer is pretty disrespectful, why is he singling out boxer to be bad mannered too. Maybe he isn't trying to BM Boxer. Boxer did a double proxy barracks in both games. Anyone would have a bad taste in their mouths after that. There are games that you simply just don't say GG to after you lose. I believe everyone has left a game once without saying GG because of the play of the other player. Thanks for the comment and thanks for being reasonable. I agree with you there, of course he wasn't trying to BM BoxeR. I don't think IdrA is innately malicious toward anyone he BM's. But not GGing toward someone who deserves a great deal of respect is a bit off-putting. so is unsolicited pandering... if it's not a good game, why should he say it is.
Because gg'ing doesn't literally mean you're saying its a good game, its just custom to show sportsmanship. Koreans come from a BW tradition where out of tens of thousands of progames there has ALWAYS been a gg or ww or some variation of it. Even in sc2 IdrA is the only top pro to regularly not gg. He is a longtime sc2/bw pro and he knows its significance. And he definitely knows the significance of not gg'ing to the person responsible for professional starcraft.

You wouldn't notice Idra fans unless the Anti-fans come out and start swinging. If no one went on about the GG thing or TT1 trying to be relevant this thread would've fizzled out after the broadcast.

Idra qualified for EVERY GSL tourney, and placed decently high in both of them. I know he can be a dick most of the time, but I think he would be doing better than Jinro right now if he was still in Korea.

I dont see why idra should have a bad taste in his mouth about the 2 rax proxy, thats just how boxer does his 2 rax, hes shown us that in many gaames, its still a safe play on his part it isnt even cheese its meant to be transitioned out of. Like when idra lost game 1 boxer had stopped the aggression he wasnt sending anymore reinforcements he had lifted off his barracks and he didnt expect to win right there, this is just boxers way of putting on pressure.
yea i'm honestly surprised he looked as if he didn't expect 2 rax from boxer...
it's a fairly standard build...also it's so important to hit the watch towers... remember the marineking game versus mc.

idra is a raging crybaby who can't concede he lost to one of the best esports figure to ever exist
the reason anyone gives two shits about idra right now is because of boxer Its crazy the assumptions people make from a lack of gg. assumptions? this has been true for every loss idra has incurred in a tournament he'll go on the next state of the game and complain about zerg or terran being op I can already imagine it now "yeah i outplayed him really hard even neural'd his siege tanks but terran is broken so I lost" you sound kinda worked up I'm worked up that idra called he'd 2-0 both koreans and then lost in embarrassing and classless fashion yeah it's great I think he gg'd during the Zenio games. But whatevs. If he gg'd zenio;s games who he doesnt even like then thats worse, why would he single out boxer? who has never shown any disrespect to him whatsoever. Innocently mispelling his name doesnt count.
Actually Idra didn't mind at all the "Grack" thing. In fact he said it was an easy mistake for a Korean to make because of the translation of the language and he thought all the community clatter around it was stupid, so yeah that doesn't count.
I think he didn't GG because he was pissed off about the proxy 2-rax both games.

Holy crap, all the Idra haters coming out of the woodwork for this thread. It's a good ol' Hatefest!

Actually it's neither.
Kiwikaki and TT1 are just looking for a cheap excuse to kick a guy when he's down. I guess Kiwi is still smarting from having his ass handed to him at the IPL finals.
Oh, SNAP!
