Boxer did not play beautifully like MMA. But he Definitely came prepared. He knew what locations to throw down proxy barrack pressure. He has follow-up plan, he has fall-back plan. He played composed, never scrambled. He could that, because he knew Idra in-n-out thoroughly. Boxer is Not Code S, but he's methodical and prepared. He's done that to Sen as well, always pays his due on his opponents and on the maps. That's why people should give him credits where it's due. 2. IDRA OVER-RATED Despite Idra placed 4th in MLG Columbus; Boxer exposed him. Idra's showed how one-dimensional he is. He only plays games when the dynamic fulfills his expectation. When he's on tilt, he just RG. That's why, he'll never win a big one. Imagine MMA RG when he blew up his own CC, that's the difference between a winner and a sore loser. | ||

On a serious note, I think Boxer played that series really well. He managed to tilt Idra enough from the first game to force the 14 gas/pool delaying the expansion and forced an over production of lings when Idra scouted the proxy 2 rax. Idra needs to really work on his mental fortitude he saw the tanks, marines, and a thor start creeping into the natural and he attacked for no reason (Especially considering his broodlords were just beginning to morph). I think if he had waited it out and maybe sac'd the natural their position would have been completely reversed. Maybe Boxer set his push up to tempt Idra into an early attack, if so he is a genius at mind games. EDIT: TT1, grow up. | ||
