TvT is one of my favourite match-ups to watch.

MMA's a really good player and all, but it's kinda cheap that he's only had to play TvT. He's practiced this matchup for weeks now, compared to polt who had to play Losira, TOP, and Alicia. That's a pretty big advantage for MMA.

TvT is fun. I remember one of the best games I watched way back was Jinro vs Ensnare. That game was amazing. It's just that there have been SOOOOO many TvT I feel like I've seen it all now and it just doesn't excite me.

Nooo, I had to sleep through tonight's matches, AND I forgot to vote in the Liquidbet!
Anyways, from what I've heard, MMA vs MKP was epic, and Polt vs TOP was satisfying as well. I'm looking forward to an epic finals, especially since MMA will probably drop the first 3 sets for fun just to stage a comeback.

TvT is actually going through a revolution right now, so the finals should be interesting from a learning standpoint at least. MMA fighting! ( But I love the improvements that Polt has made )

TvT is a really fun match up, but Code A has really killed a lot the excitement for it because there's just so many TvT's.

MKP NOOO!!! I'm actually very surprised Polt beat TOP. I think MMA will win this now... :-/ It's not that I don't like him, but I'm also not the biggest fan of his...
Now that I think about it, a Code A player winning the whole thing is pretty funny. Just as well, Polt winning the super tournament would be one of the bigger surprises even though he has been a solid player for quite some time.

Just because it's his worst matchup doesn't mean he would have lost; he still likely would have won.
Similarly, just because TvT is someone's best matchup doesn't mean they'll auto win it either (or ZvT or PvT or what have you).

One thing going against MMA is that he will be preparing for the LG starleague tomorrow and the next couple days if he wins. He won't be able to prepare for Polt specifically.

Meh, I play Zerg and TvT isn't that boring. PvT is worse as all you see are 2 blobs of 200 food bioball vs 200 food gateway+colossus kiting each other. At least siege tanks offer map control and army's movements are limited.
In fact Bio vs Mech in TvT reminds me a lot of Broodwar TvP.

People actually improve, you know.
If somebody fucks up once or twice in a matchup game, it doesn't mean he'll be stuck on that matchup skill level forever. I very much doubt you or many other people would actually put money on Ace or Squirtle to beat MMA in a series - if you would, I'd be glad to take your money the first chance I get.
Sadly, I can already TL will explode with the "oh he only played one matchup so his win isn't really valid" logic when MMA wins. Oh well...

MMA has demonstrated his ability to not only play games where prior planning will be of huge effect, as in the Super Tournament where you can plan your games way beforehand, and also in games where you have minimal practice for your opponents' playstyle AKA MLG.
And its funny how pple were hating on MMA for playing only one T v T, his weakest matchup, in his victory at MLG Columbus, and yet are hating on MMA for playing ONLY T v T in Super Tournament...
