Clide was out upgraded. 3-x marines are good vs any amount of mutas as MMA showed this weekend against July (game 2) for instance, as zergs very rarely goes past 2-1 for their mutas (and even that 1 armor is rare). Clide upgraded very slowly, he was still at 1-1 iiirc.

I think the difference is that a tournament like gsl allows you to completely study your opponent. You have a few days to look at how he plays and carefully craft builds and plays accordingly. If it doesnt work out, you completely crash and burn, which leads to one sided matches.

But in a tournament like mlg, you can prepare a bit, but given the number of people your going to play over two days the possibilities are endless so you need to have a few builds and then play it as you see it. This leads to the raw/unrefined appearance of the games.

Seems to be a lot of fans in today...

I'm still hungover from MLG Columbus. After seeing all those games this past weekend i'm so underwhelmed from anything else, including GSL. All I can say is that I can't wait for the next MLG.

sorry, I'm sure its been covered, but can someone tell me why is wolf casting alone?
He's a decent caster but I think anyone would be hard-pressed to remain humorous/interesting not having anyone to play off with.
