One question I'm wondering is if the same players will choose to come back, while an additional 4 get invited. Then there will be anywhere from 5-10 Koreans playing, and maybe some others too.
Naturally they will start filling up all the top spots. Ofc eventually the number of Koreans who choose to come will level out as they see each other as a threat for the top spot, but the equilibrium number will probably be like 10~15 Koreans.

That's why so many people are butthurt about idra losing, even though he got 4th place. They wanted idra to beat the koreans but he gave up
Yea dude he must've given not. It's not like he was outclassed and outplayed or anything.
given not?
Idra wasn't outclassed in any way. In short he played like shit because of what he did to himself. His mental state was nowhere close to where it was for the first day in which he cleaned out his group.
Idra crushed himself more than anyone else could have.
That's the beginning of the end for him and cheesing MC repeatedly didn't help.

lol agreed
I think everyone can agree IdrA didn't bring his best. He had some weird read or feeling he could surprise MC with roach but he never did.
Wait. So you're saying Idra wanted to lose?
when watching the first 3 matches, I had a feeling that idrA purposedly cheesed for a 50-50 quick win chance or failing that, to at least eliminate his unvafoured maps since its loser choose map.
He was serious on the 4th map since its Z favoured but got caught off guard by the DTs

Why are you guys continually trying to make excuses for how IdrA played?

Will see what happens :D
Doubtful, MLG will only be paying for 4 or so Korean's expenses each time. Therefore, if the others want to come, they would probably have to pay for their own expenses or their sponsors/team will. Which isn't really worth it considering even if you win the whole MLG, you only get 5k, while plane tickets + hotel + food is probably most of that.

Wow... more than ten thousand followers lol I think that's unprecedented for a Korean progamer isn't it? Anyway thanks to Moon's coach who did the translation, July, Losira, MMA, Dr. Chae, Trevor (T/N I think that's Torch), Rachel, good job to you all. And good job for me too lol... I'm gonna win it all in the Gygabyte StarsWars Tournament...
Next time I'm gonna take first place in the championship pool... -.- second place has to play so many more games... even one less game woulda have been great against Losira, because of BO battles(T/N I dunno what he means by that) T.T I lost the mind games before all the 3 matches... MMA's dropships make me say Terran imba unconsciously... wow I'm tired...
Whoaaa I'm really tired T.T Congrats to MMA Good job Losira... Personally this tournament was a great experience for me.. -.- but I'm a little bit worried about my schedule... and moreover I gotta go to China after I get back... personally I would have loved to have a finals match with MMA but o well too bad T.T
I like how we couldn't get anyone to translate for like 10 pages, and now it's been done three times.
Sucked to see MC's stargate build get figured out by the end, but I think that was up to him to not keep on adapting. The switch to DT play in game 2 was really cool, and he should have kept switching things around. Got too predictable by the end there, and Losira hard countered him. They both knew it at that point.
lol you gotta give us some time... these translations are not instanteneous you know... I started working on this as soon as I read it, but when I was done the thread had grown by 10 pages.
Hmmm..anyone think that Koreans should not be seeded highly in their pools if they come back? It's already hard enough to beat them. The MLG format is just brutal for those that do not come top in their group.

MarineKing would be great at MLG. The guy has a great personality and shows amazing emotion during games.
The logical choice should be NesTea, MVP, SlayersMMA and whoever wins the super tournament.
NesTea - earns it by being the reigning GSL Code S champion. MVP - earns it because he won the GSL world championships recently. SlayersMMA - as reigning champ needs to be given the opportunity to go back and defend his crown. Super tourney winner - self explanatory.
MMA will actually be a near Top seed now will he not?
IIRC, invited player will not be re-invited. So MMA, MC, Losira and Moon will not be the 4 at Anaheim. If MMA want to go then Slayers need to send him using their own money

why should they not be seeded? it makes no sense. they are clearly the best at the moment, therefore they should be seeded to increase the chance of having two talented players in the finals.

Won't the points that MMA gets for winning put him into the top 16?

Don't worry, we appreciate you super language skills. I'll admit I was a bit disappointed he didn't mention the venue or fans a bit more. Whatever, he's still my favorite player!

Nah, Idra's mental state is always weak when he vs a very good opponent. If you watched Idra enough you won't be surprise by what he did in his extended series vs Idra. If I recall correctly Idra did this kind of move many times in the past. Incontrol talked about this in one episode of SoTG. Idra has great mechanic, but always seems to crumble to balance between races and give out weird decision when hes under pressure.
