The engagement was absolutely horrible with about 1/4 of the Hydra attacking about 1/4 of the Stalkers, but the Stalkers kept blinking back so while the Hydras went down, none of the Stalkers did. MC also had DTs in there which rip Hydras up. He also had the upgrades. IdrA had a bunch of Infestors in the back doing NOTHING. You don't fungal the Stalkers AFTER they've already micro'd and killed half your Hydra count, you have to fungal them from the very start so that they can't reposition/blink micro to begin with. IdrA completely failed that engagement. IT'S NOT A BALANCE ISSUE. | ||

I'm a zerg fan myself but it seemed like iDra just didn't capitalize enough or try to prevent the 3rd base more and just let MC build up. Disappointing series tho, but the better player won. | ||

To be honest, looking at that last game, on a "Zerg favored" map, where he played a straight up macro game, getting 4/5 bases to MC's 2/3, then losing with mass Hydra/infestor to mass stalkers + 3 DT's, I kinda have to agree with IdrA. | ||
