I would have liked to see Shadow somehow scout that army sooner and switch it up. You can't just "switch it up" though, if you haven't been going double forge from the start then you need Colossus. A high templar switch is good but there is a huge timing where you just die because you invest a TON of gas into upgrades and tech that aren't going to kick in for another 3-4mins. Shadow played well but Throzaine played better. | ||

July has been known since his time as a god in Brood War to almost always play an aggressive timing-based style. Sometimes the timings are late, but he rarely gets into a half-map situation where players are trading armies. He tends to smell a very small advantage and press it over and over until his opponent breaks. | ||
