They should allow it imo. Being able to play more than one race competently should be an advantage that a player earns. The whole "other player doesn't get to prepare" is a lame excuse, they should be able to play all matchups. thats why u have random choice maybe? theres big difference (race picking) Thanks for the quick awnsers everyone.

Some allow and some don't. He feels like ZvZ is too chancy so he prefers TvZ. which is quite hilarious with the single most dominating Player + MU being NesTea in ZvZ and him getting destroyed 0-4 just 2 weeks prior by Nerchio. me feels like it's him just being plain bad, which isn't a shameful thing, knowing when to drone is very hard in ZvZ.

NesTea has only played 16 ZvZ in pro matches, and many of them were close. As times goes on his win rate will only drop. He is still the best in the MU, but look at BW ZvZ Besides Jaedong, would you rather play ZvZ or ZvT?

You should have to stick with one race or go random, imo.

It's not different than a switch hitter in baseball, you play the matchups.

They tell the organizer what race they will play before the specific game, and then they have to stick to it. In the early BW days this happened all the time, but back then ppl picked on the countdown. You basically had to play mind games with your opponent, the backside of picking matchups.
