You don't actually know, and whatever information you are going on is simply wrong. Professional players were typically given a week to play all of their matches. They had tools to message and email their opponents to work out times. If for some reason the players couldn't find 1 hour in a week to play the match they were given multiple ways to contact admins and try to work out additional time to play matches. Most WO's in the event were not because players couldn't change the time, they just didn't try to. We had probably thousands of reschedules in the amateur division alone, and plenty of reschedules in pro from the players who tried to reschedule. I won't give out specific examples but I can say no pro in the top 6 played all of their bracket matches at the 'default unchangeable time' that you seem to be under the impression was enforced. | ||

why are there still three games left to be played? To me it looks like there should only be two games left, the loser bracket final and the overall final. Am I missing something here? Either way, good luck to DarKFoRcE, maybe he'll make the impossible possible. | ||

Meaning that even though MMA has not dropped out of the winners bracket, he will face MVP, who will now have his second chance of beating MMA? That's completely unfair if this is true. | ||

Uh, the brackets do show a grand finals: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/GeForce_Pro/Am/Pro_Playoffs Unless you believe in the principle behind the extended series theory, this tournament is the same as any other dual bracket system. MVP lost, dropped down to the lower bracket, and had to play 3 extra series compared to MMA. He earned his way back. However, most other dual bracket systems also add an addition handicap to the guy coming from the lower bracket, such as having to start from 0-1 down in a Bo7 (Homestory cup). | ||
