How is it different? Appears to be the same to me.
edit: Oh ok I think I see what you're saying. The rules page was prior to the end of registration, looks like it hasn't been updated.
Go by the Schedule page, that is absolutely correct. And the only difference between the rules page and what is going on now is just more players which equals more per group, more groups, more brackets, etc.

I really wish this had a better way of being able to reschedule games, I literally got screwed because I wasn't available for a couple of the games and no one ever responds to any of the messages that i sent.

I just gave up because I had to miss a match and lost another early on. I also figured that there was going to be sandbagging and the like.

lol... i checked in at 8:30 (30 minutes before the game) and at 8:45 i posted in the match thread if he can reschedule because i am having internet issues. It took almost 45 minutes to download the patch (1.3.6) i log in at 9:17 message him, he says " sorry dude i already reported You should of just posted in the match thread thats the rules" i tell him i did and he says we can reschedule. Everytime he is on i message him and he says busy not now. I was 1st place in my group and now i might not even make it through...

have to remember that the pro division had limited spots.
for example, I myself am in the am division and clearly shouldn't be. granted 85% of ppl in this tourney are no shows anyways :-/

My division is looking to have a tied score for slots 2 and 3, myself being involved in that.
How do ties get determined for moving on into the brackets?

I believe I read that the first tie breaker is FFL, whoever has the lower amount between the tied players move on. Then head-to-head matchup for the 2nd tie breaker.
Not sure if this is accurate but I'm pretty sure I saw that in this thread somewhere.

They are useless. I provided proof of me being online (and talking to the opp who logged off) at game time and they still gave him a walkover.
I am no longer playing games, this tournament is stupid.

I can't find the answer to my question on the Geforce.cevo website, but i'm afraid i already know the answer...but just in case.... There is a player in my group that has 2 losses and then there is me with 1 loss and 1 FFL. In this case, we are both tied for 2nd place, however, Are 2 losses better than a loss and a FFL? Who should stay in 2nd place? The guy i'm tied with for 2nd place is the only FFL I have. I don't know if it would be possible to play him this far from the original match date but... What do you guys think/know? Who would advance in this case?

Yea, I emailed Geforce.cevo too, i just didn't know they would reply that fast (literally like 10 minutes).

I got dropped from the tournament for too many forfeit losses... but I couldn't care less. I purposely didn't show up to the matches because there were just too many of them and I stopped caring. Having more than 1 match in a day really hurt my motivation for this tourney. For most people, it's just for fun and when it cuts into our priorities, we ditch it.
I haven't ever lost a match that I've played either. cevo should really drop this group play garbage imo.
