Oddly enough his random seems to be on par with his T. I watched his stream the other night and he beat NaYa in a ZvZ, and just toyed with a Korean Grandmaster Terran beating him with Carrier/Mothership. Kids very talented with all races. Also here's the Reddit thread for today He's obviously very talented. That's why I'm kind of disappointed that he gave up on TvP.
Meh I don't think he's "gave up" on it. I think he's just frustrated. I see a lot of pros do this kind of stuff. After a week or two though, they figure out whatever it is that they were missing and work on fixing it.
Dear mods: Event is set to "other" again in the calendar. Can someone fix that? Thanks!

Games are starting for today guys, tune in, Whiplash is co-casting again today!

It just feels so different without TaeJa playing.

Wow, dat comeback by GPigu. 2 bases 40 probes vs 3 bases 60 scv 3 orbitals, but 2-3 upgrades vs 1-1, one of the rare times I see archons zealot working that well.

Yeah, I had written that game off as a definite loss for GuineaPig and went to get some dinner, then I came back 10 minutes later and saw him wrecking Destination's base with a ton of chargelots.
|
Wow, Guineapig is a boss. A pack of marines early game, the usual no stim marine poke, some stalkers behind, some stalkers in front, and he micro back and forth and kills everything without losing stalkers, only some health and mostly shields :o
|
Wowow, GP is really impressive as protoss.
|
Is Destination playing really bad or what? (by korean terran standards of course)
|
GuineaPig is playing really well right now, good decision making & unit control there.
|
Smart decision from GuineaPig to go for DTs while taking the hidden expo.
Destination making the terrible decision to camp outside the base while taking damage from DTs. He had to rely on GuineaPig screwing up his forcefields in order to do any damage.
|
Nicely played by GuineaPig, but Destination didn't play very well trying to push up small ramps like that assuming that he was ahead in econ.
|
Destination going for the 1/1/1 on Daybreak, wonder why he would do that. GuineaPig crushing it utterly. Those 6 immortals spread out at the end looked so intimidating
We're now going to have PvP in a Bo5 semi-finals followed by a Bo7 finals. Not sure how I feel about that yet. I'm going to say that CranK has this. His PvP was really solid last week and he managed to slay TaeJa. Obviously, he'll be the next Korean Weekly bonjwa!

KorWeekly PvPvPvP ![](/mirror/smilies/frown.gif)
just kidding of course :D

There is lots of VODS earlier weeks with TvT if you want

Crank helping me with sick pvp builds in this series, pvp can be so awesome ![](/mirror/smilies/frown.gif)
Edit: Extreme really handles this poorly :x

Not quite true actually. The Korean Weekly has always been diverse, apart from TaeJa owning. Protoss has been doing quite well in the recent ones.
In fact, there's only been 2 mirrors out of the past 14 finals. Both TaeJa against GuMiho.
So much cheese from CranK after I said he was solid. :D
|
Oh wow.
I never was impressed by extreme, but this is ... damn, what the duck is he doing !
|
War of the worlds incoming ![](/mirror/smilies/frown.gif)
EDIT: Man Crank played that so well but it doesn't matter if you have more colossi you win ;(

SlayerS.Crank defeats ZeNEX.Treme and moves to his second finals in a row!
MvP.GuineaPig vs. SlayerS.Crank BO7 for 1st place about to come up!
