Post 2008, it's been like that. Pre-2007, there were plenty of upsets. Androide getting 2nd in 2005 is a notable example.

Still fun though man because it's like the only time the foreigners ever get their chance to take on the pros. :/
As much of a steamroll as it is it's still fun to watch. On the bright side the Pro League match-ups look amazing on paper. Should be a real treat!
