In counter-strike, with a very concentrated scene where the top 8 pretty much enter every tournament, it is not either. Is it the best of the best in wc3 because I don't follow that scene at all... Situation is kind of the same as in CS since the top players get invited to most of the other tournaments too, but the WCG gold holds a lot of prestige in War3. Also, most of the best are there; by this I mean, they all have a decent chance at placing. The only two who are missing who I consider to be of a high enough skill to do well are Remind (lost out to Lyn in qualifiers) and Infi (I think he lost out to his teammate TH000 in qualifiers). Which is a shame, because Remind's a beast who had a bad day, and Infi ... is probably the most "in-shape HU" player right now, IMO. And of course, Grubby didn't try out ... Overall, the top contenders for gold are: - Moon and Sky: Do I need to even say anything? Moon looks like he's back in Fifth Race shape and Sky, though he's fallen off in these past years, is probably China's fan-favorite. I think a lot of people want to see a Moon vs. Sky final, because they're the two greats. Moon winning this WCG would be so poetic, too. - Lyn: He can right-click well? Hahaha, joking. Lyn's always a beast, and he seems to be in pretty good shape. - TH000: All around considered the best HU player (also race-switches during tourneys when he hits a mirror match-up and has a pretty strong NE). He was in baaaaaad shape when I saw him play this weekend though, and he historically does bad at tourneys outside of China. - Fly: Has fallen off lately, but is still a strong Orc player to watch out for. - Nicker: Russian who's been tearing it up lately. Got top in his group at G-League this past weekend over Infi, Fly, Focus, and TH000. Nice to see GOM broadcasting War3. ![]()

Read it on a German site, I have no other source though. http://www.readmore.de/index.php?cont=headlines&id=56673

Some say he declined initially but then later accepted and some say he declined. I guess we'll find out soon. It'd be a shame if he did, since he's in such good shape, and in an interview last month, he'd said he was looking forward to playing in the WCG.
