Why would MVP share his money with someone else? He's 16-4 (5-0 in BoX) against MKP and 6-2 (3-0 in BoX) against Supernova, his biggest competition. I suppose Huk is a threat considering MVP is weak vP but Huk tends to drop out of tournaments prematurely.

My predictions on winners of group play:
+ Show Spoiler +
BTW I thought Huk is American in WCG? As far as I know only KiWiKaKi was qualified for Canadian representative.
|
Hoping for upsets since it's only b01.

there wasn't an American qualifier.
TLO, HayprO and HerO attempted but did not qualify. There wasn't a qualifier for Sheth or Tyler, Jinro was in Korea and missed the Swedish qualifiers while Ret did not attempt to qualify.

He's officially representing Canada, I've speculated why but it is merely speculation.

Any information on whether there will be English commentary this year and who it will be? More importantly, will there be English commentary for the BW Proleague matches being played at WCG?
|
As far as I know Rotterdam (the English caster) is only casting the War3 and SC2 matches.

Aww, KR got eliminated? ..

Looks like HuK and Idra just need to finish 3rd behind Sen and MvP to qualify for the Blizzard Cup

Haha, that's where you're wrong! You see, mOOnGLaDe is a star that represents the hope of an entire nation. He will light our darkest hour and bring Australia forth to a new age, a new era. For he is the chosen one. He shines ever brighter in the rapidly growing darkness in the sphere we call the world. And then, when it looks like there is no one left to step up to the plate and stop the evil from shrouding the world, mOOnGLaDe will come forth and bring us victory.

MVP, Sen, IdrA, and Huk have it pretty easy in the group stages lol. Almost walkovers :D Huk only has to worry about Morrow while the other three have pretty much nothing to fear, might as well have a perfect record in group play :D IdrA fighting :D

Well yea, its WCG, so a lot of trash players from countries without great SC2 players. Huk got real unlucky in my opinion, Morrow's ZvP is strong.

But everyone in those groups is talented (well, most of them.) and you shouldn't consider them walkovers.

Sen for 3rd again

Groups A and G are so stacked. How many people from each group advance to the next round?
|
Bo1 in the group stages is going to be interesting. I can see a few upsets happening.

SliDeR is in aAa?!?!?! - news to me...

That payout structure is hilarious. I know it's good publicity for sponsors etc that the winner holds a huge check but this is going a bit too far imo.

I may be retarded but i looked through the thread for streaming information and couldn't find any.
Anyone know where the stream will be? From the main WCG site i assume?

Most likely, I remember watching stream provided by WCG website from back in Boxer's WCG winning days.
And WCG First place prize pot vs 2nd is so large. Unless it's a mistype.
