nice finals, both of them deserved the final spot and i was happy both of them showed pretty ok play even under the pressure Yea, I thought the same thing. Seems kinda pointless to do the finals live if you aren't going to show the players or fly the casters out as well. The casters being there would have led to much better interviews as well. I think the live idea is good for future events, but just fly the casters out and have some static cameras on the players.

The reason why Thorzain has particularly good chance in GSL is that he seems to shine in matches where he gets to prepare. Congratulations, Thorzain!!

Im amazed at the people that think these players shouldn't make ANY mistakes, and that if they do they are playing horribly.
Have you ever played with over 50 thousand nerds watching? With 15 thousand dollars on the line? With the dude you're playing in the same building as you?
How can these players NOT make mistakes?
Since when has there ever been a game of starcraft BW or starcraft 2 where there were 0 errors......

I actually took the 45 min to read the articles and finish the quiz. Please announce them, i need my sleep ~^ Also, when they were talking about re-streaming in korea i thought about the observing specifically. And i though "Damn, im proud this goes to korea. The obs movement is absolutely superb". GJ Hot_Bid Didn't they say that they'd have the result later in the week, and not during the cast? I thought I heard Chill say that.
i thought they were just postponing it to after the actual matches. I might have misheard though. My brain is mush from work and starcraft overload

Did they draw the raffle btw?

Terran isn't supposed to stand a chance on that map vs P, and he won. Sure, Chill's lag and Thorzain's nerves of ice made Naniwa lose a game he would have won 99 out of 100, but still, amazing match. Wait what? Thorzain comes out winning as a zerg? Terran not standing a chance on that map? According to TLPD it's only 60% PvT. "as a Zerg, I am amazed of his skills". Only 60% PvT win rate? Only 60% Protoss favored? Would only 60% Protoss be a good argument against Protoss being favored? I do not like to see your examples of what maps you find P favored then, if you use 60% P favored as a point in your argument Joke aside, with Naniwa's PvT ratio on the most dreadful map in the map pool (please Blizzard, bring back the Blizzard maps) I just did not see Thorzain stand a chance. You have to keep in mind that the 60% P favored stats are including players that is not Naniwa, and I think no non-Korean can stand a chance against Naniwa, and I doubt most Koreans except MC and Genious would even in Korea, so if you give the top P in the world a 60% map, I expect him to roflstomp his opponent. Blizzard maps have 99% been terrible. They do not how to make a good map. But Xel Naga Caverns is also one if not the best map in SC2.

I felt Naniwa lost it more than Thorzain won it, but it was entertaining either way No. ThorZain WON it. Naniwa had an advantage but Thorzain OVERCAME that advantage. There was no obvious move command instead of attack command. ThorZain is just FREAKING AMAZING Don't be ridiculous, Naniwa made mistakes, attacked at an awkward angle, stacked sentries, etc... and that was just game 7. Game 6 he had if he simply attacked instead of sitting for half a minute forcefield the ramp while units were being elevator'd. Thorzain made the correct moves but he wasnt in control of either situation. Naniwai made mistakes. Yes Thorzain is amazing we can agree on that
