I play Zerg and I'll be honest, Terran has to put early pressure. But the way Jinro does it to the point of even being close to all-in with so many SCVs is why he's getting all this hate. It would be even worse if he actually ended up winning.
Thank god he didn't do the 6 rax cheese and win, he'd get hated even more.
Sad for Jinro though, I was so impressed with him 2 seasons ago and thought he actually could even win GSL! He's definitely got the potential. Think he's just gotta practice playing straight up the way MVP and Bomber play and stop trying to win with fancy builds.

Only upside to this is that more people on TL will watch Code A. Code A is awesome. Next one's not for a while yet though

Whats wrong with it he was trying to deny early hatches because if you dont as terran you get behind, sc did it on most of his games he forced nestea to go speed first on all the games.
he put too much into that last game tho espcially cuz it was a late hatch. and he didnt scout that hidden expo he could of scouted when he got map control with his BFH,
those two things are what lost him that last game and his macro slipping a little.

Can't believe people are bringing up a ladder game huk managed to win... progamers do their proper practice in custom games. Huk is abusive too (not necessarily an insult) which suits ladder play, and is the reason he is so inconsistent. MMA/Marineking are ex BW progamers, of course they are better (sc1 experience aside they are just more skilled anyway in SC2... just look at mma's code A performance)

Granted, it was on ladder, but he definitely had a chance to advance. Don't rule him out yet. It wasn't Slayers'MMA, it was SlayersRyung.
The player specifically answered MMA when HuK asked who it was. He also talked about up&down and that he wished MKP would fall.
Ryung was mentioned in the chat, but that was HuK saying something along the lines of "I added you on twitter. You and Ryung."
He might have played them both yesterday though.

I was surprised because a lot of tvz are decided by how successful the initial pressure is, I think the bunker rush worked that game but he still got rolled in the midgame.
I think the issue was the lack of damage dealt to the zerg after the bunker rush. Jinro couldnt move out of his base due to like 20 speedlings which also meant he couldnt take his natural. Zenio spotted his factory with tech lab, built just enough defense and prevented jinro from doing any economic damage while just mass droning

What happened to your macro Jinro?
For that matter, what happened to TL as a whole? I sure hope their training plans are looked at...

That would be conceding defeat and saying that they can't hang with the best in the world. I don't think they would do this any time soon.

Terrans have the right to do whatever it takes to win just like every other race. If you don't like their methods blame the game not the players- they're just working with what they're given same as every other race. The fact that Zenio was able to come back and win game three shows that there's nothing wrong at all with that bunker rush. It's a calculated risk not an auto-win. I agree with this. The thing is, I've been watching all the Jinro games even before he won MLG and I've seen him at his absolute peak and I've seen him in games where he wasn't hot. In the games today he didn't play that bad. There weren't a lot of glaring mistakes, and his micro was still up there (there were a few times where he was just a tad slow, but nothing big). He made a tiny mistake of not scouting the hidden base fast enough that last game and it cost him the whole thing... Hang in there Jinro, your fans still love you.
+1 to all of the above <3 Liquid

Hopefully Jinro's return to Europe will allow him to win some EU/US comps and regain his mojo...

I think using tanks to attack that base was the mistake. When a base is that far out of position, you need to use more mobile forces to hit it. If you use tanks, muta/ling will just move in to hit you where you left and clean up. If Jinro wanted to take out that base, he shoulda loaded up 2 medivacs with marine marauders

Correct me if I'm wrong but players knocked out of Code A are allowed to join the qualifier tournament next season even if they aren't top 200 correct? Jinro has an account called Checkraise, which is in GM. 1) Jinro is not the only one using that smurf account. 2) Huk was the one that grinded that account to GM league.

It's extremely hard to expand to 3 bases with Mech against Muta Play while the zerg easily outexpands you, you can't defend spread out bases. You can't bio because of Baneling/Infestor. I personally think TvZ is becoming Heavily Zerg Favored. I'm hoping the ghost changes are the answer..

At Dreamhack all TL players were eliminated first round, I believe. At last MLG, only TLO had a decent performance, getting fifth. None of their players except Tyler made it past TSL Ro32. In the GSL World Championship, HuK and Jinro lost both their games in the teammatch, lost in first round of the actual tournament. In the NASL, the standings are as follows (groups of 10): Tyler(7), TLO(6), Haypro(10), Ret(3), so only Ret is doing well there. Ret and Haypro only play in the NASL because they lost in the first round of Code A.

But to be fair, they can't.. least not at the moment.

Yes i know. Incase he needs a GM account to participate he can claim its his.

That overlord which saw everything in his base was the biggest mistake from Jinro imo.
