We don't know what players applied so that's hard to say. He's definatly lower tier, but I wouldn't call him underserving.

First off, I think any person who is invited is deserving. Some reasons: - SteelSeries is one of the Main Sponsors - Grubby has been/is (one of) the Main Steelseries spokesperson. He will probably do promotional stuff for Steelseries during the event. - His fanbase is huge! - Grubby's performance has been improving and as a fan of the underdog I love the "The struggle". Great players that are fighting mentally and physically to get back on top creates the best stories. That is why I love following the careers of cyber-athletes like Grubby, Tyler, iNcontroL BoXer and others who are publicly working/fighting hard to achieve greatness.

But really, there are 16 slots left, anyone worth mentioning is probably going to be invited to DreamHack.

DreamHack would be, I think, a great tournament to introduce Geoff to the EU scene. :D Incontrol didn't apply. He said he would have loved to go but the dates clashed with something for his girlfriend. Miss America or something? Not sure.
