I don't see any tickets on sale that seem to directly apply to this. http://bokning.dreamhack.se/Create an account then login and there u can find daypass or event passes! I looked at those but it seemed weird that you could just attend any day you want. I'd expect the place to be absolutely packed, so not selling actual seats seems, as I said, weird indeed.
If you want to get a seat for the finals you should probably make sure to stand in line 1h-2h before it starts.
On DH Winter, the line extended all the way from the elevators in to the D-hall. Probably a 200meter++ line about 3-4 people thick. None of those people got let in...
Dreamarena Extreme holds about 1100 people as far as I know. I'd expect double that amount to want a seat for the SC2 finals.
You can attend the group stages and earlier rounds though. Shouldn't be as packed.

Yeah, like I said, get there early for the best seats, and if there are a few guys u can go get something to eat and leave like 2 ppl keepin the seats =)

I'm gonna go there with 2 of my friends all 3 days and we're wondering what seats to buy really, I've heard that the sound is really loud at the scene so it's kind of hard to even talk to eachother if you get your seats close to that, however I wonder if I can actually view the SC2 tournament going on from my actual computer seat if I take 3 spots at, let's say D71 (http://bokning.dreamhack.se/index.php?x=61&y=23&p=seatmap&curevent=17 you can check the seats here etc).
Otherwise we're thinking of just getting 3 seats in the B Hall but from what I read above, it can be hard to get a view of the actual tournament then?
Any help apprecciated, would be awesome if we could get some guidance on where the best seats are for some guys who are gonna spend 3 days there, as I said we're going to bring our comps etc so we're not just gonna spectate.

The SC2 tournament is not played in the area where the computers are but off in a separate room, so it would not matter where u were sitting =) But yeah, the noise level from the mainstage can be pretty annoying

I have a question for someone who already attended on DH. I am going with friends for the first time and we are sitting in tha main hall where the main stage is. Where are the matches of the SC2 tournament casted ? Will Day[9] and Apollo sitting on the main stage and is there some projection of the game or is it somewhere else/where ? Players will be in the separated room right ? Where you can meet them ? Thanks

The matches are not played on the mainstage, but rather in what's called the "Dream Arena" a separate room that holds 1100 people, or atleast that's how it was last year.

Thanks Be prepared...The main hall is extremely noisy There's a separate room for most of the tournament play, the main stage is mostly for music performances and stuff like that Finals and other "main" events are in yet another room. Line up in time for those! Also, you might wanna get used to this: + Show Spoiler +[/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vC0s_SxIWRc
Haha epic, that's about it, that's what u can expect =) So if u just wanna sit by urself and play games you should consider not being in the main hall

Is there a pattern to how often they are announcing who gets invited? Is it like once a week? When will the next batch of names be announced?
|
I'll be sad if Nerchio isn't invited. Also want to see Sase and Tarson. From NA I guess Kiwikaki and maybe Sheth can also compete on this level. Don't want to comment on Koreans, too many good ones and I don't watch a lot of GSL ^^
Anyway, this event would be sick with the current invites already. So pumped for this!

Don't think so, not that I can see atleast, just think they announce once they have people confirmed etc

Would love to see Nestea there!

Personally I think we have enough Koreans. Would love to see some lesser known players (outside the EU mainly) too that really have potential like Nerchio and SaSe. DH Winter was awesome because really, who'd expected Naama to win it in advance? MaNa vs Naama was a great final imo and I think if more "lesser knowns" would be accepted, we'd see a lot more interesting matches.

Agreed to some extent, although I'd probably like 2 or 3 more Koreans but certainly would like the majority of the invites to come being euros like the two players you mentioned as well as a couple more NA server players like Kiwikaki and Select.

omg that line up is sick. this is going to be better than any other event ever

It would be so cool if someone not Korean won this! :D I'm rooting for our Swedish stars!
