You people need to stick to your 15min no rush BGH games... reinforcing from 7 gate out of 2 base with no probe production he has to do damage cuz he can't expo you can argu that it's not an all in because he will do damage anyway since zerg (maybe) apparently can't do much more than july just di

Who told you that anypro decided to all in before the game started tho? July went with a very greedy double fast expand, and anypro knew about the second FE, so it wasn't a blind all in.

Many Toss all-ins are heavily reliant on sentry positioning and FF control, and though one might think that it's easy to have good FFs, it's really not. I've lost so many games trying to play like MC because my FFs and unit positioning were lacking.

You people keep crying that the better player lost, well maybe July IS the better player overall. However, in this series he was not. Anypro won fair and square with a superior build and execution in game 3. Only people who say otherwise are just balance whiners who cannot accept the fact their precious race or player lost. FYI I'm a zerg player, I just have common sense which a lot of you guys seem to lack.

That didn't look like an easy all-in to execute to me, Anypro set that up for a long time, with a lot of preparation and decent macro behind it. He made sure he had a sufficient probe count and stockpiled some money while getting upgrades, allocating chrono boost fairly well, and made sure he had the robo for the observer to deal with burrow, which was July's chosen defense. It's certainly a hell of a lot harder to execute than a 6 pool, 7 roach rush, or a 3 roach mass speedling all-in.

I would agree...but I've never seen this build executed this perfectly before. His timing was immaculate. July's was not, so he lost.

If you don't understand the argument, you just don't understand the game. It's not always the better player who wins in SC2. Anyway, in this case it was just poor execution by July. He could have won this if he controlled his Roaches better. Who told you that anypro decided to all in before the game started tho? July went with a very greedy double fast expand, and anypro knew about the second FE, so it wasn't a blind all in. Double FE was obviously a reaction to Anypros forge FE. You basically have to double expand if you're not going allin to stay even with the Protoss. There's nothing greedy with it since both players were very vulnurable at the same time.

Will delay it enough for July to get tunneling claws in time to snipe some sentries. Baaaaagh, I like July so much, I wanted him to go through :S

Keep baiting those FFs until he runs out. Sure you might lose your 3rd but you can run your drones away and the constant baiting will give July time to get more units out. Once the FFs are gone, move in and crush the army. Even if you had lost the 3rd hatch in the process, you can counter attack and do damage/contain.

Theres a post above saying if he just burrow moves out when the ff's go up he would win the fight, but I feel he would lose his hatch and drones...not sure that would be a good trade unless he wins the fight convincingly and keeps his supply up enough to just counter and win.

And is there even a way for Protoss to win and not get flamed? Early game win = flame, mid game win = flame, late game win = flame... and then when some lovely Zerg player annihilates some Protoss with all kind of gimmicky strats that's all fine and justified. I am not P player and I cheered for July but amount of scrubs who are trying to justify their Bronze leagues on LR topics is just too pathetic.

If a player beats another player in a series, the winner was the better player in that series. Overall, maybe not, but in that series, definitely. Otherwise, he wouldn't have won. Pretty obvious, though many people don't like admitting it.
