calm down he is a great great player that needs experience... There are around 100 players who i would reasonably call better than Artosis on the NA ladder alone based on w/r or points or a combination, and many of them do not play that frequently. Artosis has played 240 games this season and is rank 900 in the North American MASTERS ladder (so not even top 1000 factoring in Grandmaster) with a very uncommon sub-50% w/r, and so i'd hardly call that inactive or talent in recovery...thats more play than a ton of players, not to mention he customs a lot. I can't understand how a player who was A- in Brood War can be so...mediocre at SC2, but its clear to me that for some reason him and SC2 do not click together. Regardless of whether of not he has talent in SC2 (which i would lean towards saying he does not), this is about him being in the NASL...why the fuck is he in the NASL with his current state is my question.
Nearly everyone who is up there has played a lot more than Artosis in ladder season one even if they haven't played as much since the ladder reset. Also Artosis has just switched to protoss after a significant time of inactivity. He doesn't have the knowledge/experience and his mechanics are behind because of that. He will come around eventually and show some devent games.
He's never been nor will he ever be one of the best tho.

Yeah, his APM is HORRIBLE and his decisionmaking is really bad. It's sad to see because he has so much game knowledge, he'd be one of the best coaches easily. He should just not try to play because he can't put it in motion himself anymore, not like he used to in Brood War. Maybe with a lot more practice but I don't see it happening anytime soon. I think it's safe to say he still has a life outside of doing stuff for the Starcraft community. People in their twenties generally tend to have that. Edit: god, inControl and that asian guy (whose name I don't know) are horrible commentators. Doesn't change that there were tons of more qualified people for this NASL than Artosis though. If you apply to something like this you should put in commitment, not make a joke out of the league and yourself. It's disrespectful. Nope. If you get accepted to a league you have no responsibility to anyone.

I gotta say, Grubby's got some pretty impressive micro, though I suppose that should be expected from an ex-WC3 hero. If he can buff the rest of his game he could be pretty scary. Lord knows a lot of other ex-WC3 pros have done it (just look at the TSL).

Sheth sounds like a really nice person. Hope to see more from him in the future (maybe outside the US). His ZvP is crazy strong.

wow 10k eu viewers nice nasl !, how much viewers nasl get from NA ?

1) How many else ladder on NA from Korea? It's not like we have a good measurement on how the playing conditions effect ones rank.
2) I think you mix up talent with amount of training.

Sheth sounds cool. I like him.

I want to see Sheth vs KiWi Also, need to go back and watch Huk vs Sheth
|
Stream on Sheth daily and u see why he is good. He deserved a lot from his play and i won't be surprise to see him in GSL soon if he decided to go.
FXO decided to make Malaysia close to being a "korea" sc2 will take a long time since Malaysia is not so big on sc2 yet but more towards cs 1.6 and dota.

Sheth is scary. Seriously. He plays so well, reads on his opponents then he macroes up, give a hug to his army and send them to die. If he didn't win with that attack, he just remakes another army and do the same. No rage, no "damnit" after a bad attack. It's just...scary :D

I don't agree with the guy above you, NASL knew what they were getting with Artosis and they accepted him. But do you honestly think that a member of a league has no responsibility to anyone? Players in leagues have responsibilities to the league and to the fans. Hope I didn't just get trolled O_o

Sheth vs Grubby game 2 was like, amazing.
Every single unit in the zerg army has been used there, nice!

I have been in all over the world, and one thing has proven abundantly clear: There are idiots everywhere. I will be the first to say the American educational system is severely lacking, but I know too many people from Germany, Italy, France, UK, Denmark, and elsewhere to be anything but proud of the intelligence of the average American. Even though this is an LR, I have to agree with this, I think people don't realize that the average populations have limited knowledge particularly in world news/politics/geography. It's easy to name the capital of the United States since the US is perhaps the most discussed country in the world, but I for instance have never met a European who knew the capital of Canada off hand - that doesn't make them 'stupid', why would knowing that have any relevance to them in the first place?
off topic again but this reminds me of the series that started with "americans are stupid" and then continued with "germans are stupid" etc
if you don't know what is is, google it or look it up on youtube. it was a show to show how stupid americans were and other countries picked it up, did stupid interviews and showed it was fake afterwards. don't let yourself blind b the media cause it's so easy to manipulate.
you should only make your opinion if u have been there for a longer time and have experienced it first hand.
well so much for that, now
TLO fighting!
oh and our german education system sucks, too

Umm, that comment about terran was random He couldn't have heard inc saying that nobody could call him bad earlier?
