lol @ the TSL beeing an american league TT. no "americans" left, buddy!

I was about to ask if I was the only one to hear djWheat say that. Calling tsl an american league....

It's an american league because it's hosted by an american organization. If huk and jinro were in the finals for GSL, it would still be a Korean league, wouldnt it?

I think a lot of the Cruncher hate comes not from him beating Idra, necessarily, but from him beating Mondragon, the last hope for Zerg and a generally well liked player.

As for Cruncher disappearing... I thought people would've learned from Idra's comments about Morrow back when Morrow 5-reapered him out of the IEM, which he later retracted in light of Morrow becoming one of the top Zergs of Europe. Idra is not always the best judge of a player.

That's completely different. Cruncher isn't going on forums saying he's switching races because abusing 5 rax isn't fun anymore. He's posting screenshots of IdrA's BM on WC3 tower rusher forums, dropping smiley faces when he wins with an unscouted 6 gate all-in against a vastly superior player, cannon rushing and PROXY GATING in the round of 8 of the TSL, relishing that people hate him and enjoying the fact that he takes wins he doesn't deserve.

Not to defend Cruncher too much, because some of what he did was indeed in poor taste (though it was in response to Idra calling him a walkover), but MC proxy gated Kas in the Copenhagen Finals and White-Ra in the Dreamhack Finals. Naniwa proxy gated Kiwi in the MLG Finals. Proxy gating does not make a player bad - it's a part of the game.

They talk so much in between games, jesus. It's already like 3 hours long to watch the matches for the day, the last thing we need is for these events to be even longer...I think if they cut down on the chit-chat in between games just a bit that might be a bit better.

This I agree. When I saw IGL shooting STRAIGHT to games made me realize how much they love to analyze in between.

bye Cruncher, you were definitly the lowest skilled player in TSL, wonder how you got this far...

ZeeRaX was worse.

So was Mondragon. People should stop the fucking bias.

Speaking of bias, i think you should watch the games again. Cruncher didn't win by outplaying mondragon in every single game and indeed it was the other way around. And, ZeeRaX was just BAD.

Zerg fans seem to have no idea what good play looks like. Any Zerg that makes 80 drones and 100 creep tumors is a God and any and all Protoss players are crap.

Nice bias bro.

I'm biased against the people on this forum (especially in LRs) who comment on Zerg players, yes. They're insufferable and clueless.

Are you saying that there's no good Zerg players?

Mm, I agree with this mostly. Mirror matchups are nice though, because people can't talk about balance.

You could be surprised

So what happens? "AHHHH MARINES ARE SO IMBA IN TVT!! QQ"? o_O

Earlier in this thread during the PvP, when Cruncher got 7 colossi someone said 'If only 7 thors or 7 broodlords were that scary'.

People manage it ;o

Can't believe the hate. All this hate is residue from IdrA saying he believed CrunCHer was a walkover. But now that walkover eliminated IdrA from the tournament and took two games off the player who breezed the MLG Dallas. Why can't ppl give credit where credits due?

Because we watched how he played against the 2 zergs

And how is that? Safe? Idra is just a hypocrite and you guys are idiots.

more like boring. and Idra actually does cool shit like drops, Cruncher generally just sits on his ass until he's maxed and then attacks.

No Idra does not usually do drops. He did drops against Cruncher because Cruncher was turtling. Idra and Tyler criticize people for taking risks and not playing safe and then turn around and flame Cruncher for playing safe and having the best chance to win. Everyone on TL chimes in on the Cruncher hate. I'm not even a fan of the guy, I just think you all need to have your own minds instead of being fucking sheep.

Even if he was the best player in the world he acted like a childish ass in the post-game interview against IdrA, dunno how people can like the guy but anyhow:

I suppose Cruncher shouldn't get hate for playing a boring style like that, I think the anger is more that a style like that works and can get you into Ro8 of the TSL. Mondragon outplayed Cruncher hard in their series but it didn't even matter, and that's bound to piss a lot of people off.

Ever since he did that smiley against IdrA I've kinda been cheering for him.
All the fanboys just raged all over his face, when he did imo the best thing he could've done, and even the winners interview was awesome. If a guy says he approaches a match with you as a walkover and he talks shit during the game he can do whatever the fuck he wants when he beats him imo.
And if he acted like an ass, then what was Idra ?
It appears I have been chosen.

Nah, people still cry imbalance in mirrors. Look back ~30 pages and you'll see plenty of people using CrunCher v Nani as an excuse to say colossi are imba.

Huh, but NaNiwa could have gotten his own Colossi. >.<

wcreplays.com isn't a wc3 tower rusher forum, seriously.
