If you have 20 marines clumped together without ghosts or seiged tanks then you deserve to lose them to fungal... if zerg plays that way you have to start splitting your forces into little clumps, if you can do this infestors become less useful.

That's easy to say but what the fact is, even after the ghost nerf, it's too hard to get into range and emp even with cloak on, you've got overseers around + fungal also reveals cloaked units, and once infestors, broodlords, and corruptors come into play, its over, corruptors can start corrupting units and make them take +20% damage and the fungal damages armored units +30% damage, and thats another overkill factor, I've had alot of trouble lately against this composition in late macro games vs Zergs.

I am not very impressed by either of these players (Machine and Bratok.) I mean, they're both pros and deserve respect but it just seems like there is an obvious gap between these guys and "the best in the world."

I wish they focus on BRAT_OK's play a bit more, I didn't have chance to watch him play a lot. Second game felt like Machine's FP stream. :/

EMP has the same range as fungal, so if he can fungal you, you can EMP him.
On topic, I don't think I've ever seen that particular overlord placement out of any Zerg. Is there a good reason to do it, or is it a bit overkill?

Why are you bringing balance complaints to an LR thread? There are other places to talk about this. Just enjoy the games theyre pretty good.

Yeah that's not that strong of a point given that idra is somewhat biased when it comes to zerg balance issues.
