Any players from the previous group would have rolled this group.

Weird choice by Check, pretty standard play from Sangho though.

He is? What's your top4 then ^^?

1. Grubby
2. Moon
3. Sky

It gets hazy after that, you could argue for 000, madfrog, creo, remind, lyn, and a lot of other great players.

No you can't, you either put fly100%, Infi, or Lyn. And achievement wise and impact on the metagame that was so stagnant for a couple of years, Lyn takes it. He popularized the t3 no expand vs undead and the Sh fast level 3 vs NE going mass talons. Not to mention his amazing BM control.
Arguing for any of the first three you mentioned is not knowing the scene and the impact of the respective players. TH had two stellar but short-lived moments, when he first came out, and second when he won ESWC China 2008 (Sure, he's been dominant since 2010, when all other pros went to SC2 or inactive...), but Lyn has won so much more and had a far greater influence in the way the game is played nowadays.

Anyway, Lyn was overaggressive

Definitely do not agree with you.

I'll go

1. Moon
2. Grubby
3. Sky

Essentially agree with original post, Lyn is great but not on the level of the above three. I'll go with Creo, Fov or Lyn afterwards. I still don't think Lyn is top 4... defintiely Top 10 though. Happy to see Lyn Grubby and Moon really starting to make an impact in SC2, Grubby and Moon are both playing very well in NASL so far and Lyn hopefully can make a strong impression too

Creo won a WCG, what did FoV win? Lyn won Blizzcon 2k9, EMS 2010, ESWC 2010 and I think a couple more tournaments I can't remember at the moment :S Only two players I can find an argument valid for the 4th spot, those being Infi and Fly100%

Check -_-

no, they slow as shit

You play protoss? dude zerg dont straight up fight with muta, they hit and run. Blink stalker and tech to storm is best way. The speed of other units is irrelevant, he was asking how to deal with muta.

What Artosis and Tasteless miss in the game talking about pickles and nubbins, they sure do make up for in knowledge of the game. Artosis pretty much called muta not working the second the lair dropped. I mean sure, most of us know that, but Artosis was all over the critical strategical error right away. GG Artosis.

Building blink stalkers is a good skill to have vs mutas thats for sure.

They're poor DPS makes them terrible against Mutas. Because they're so gas-heavy, that means slower tech and possibly fewer Stalkers.

Sentries have 1 less DPS than stalkers.

Stalker DPS/cost isn't very high in the first place. A Marine has the same base DPS as a single Stalker, yet Stalkers are much more expensive.

Plus, Sentries cost 100 gas yet do less DPS than a single Marine, which costs no gas.

I guess it depends how you look at it, for me the team competitions (eg WC3L) were so much bigger in WC3 that it actually matters - FoV and Creo probably get a bump up from me just for helping 4K maintain dominance for so long. But fair point.

I think its because Jinro is pretty confident with his tvt and wanted a rematch with Clide.

Check was so good in open season 1. Then he started making strange builds with poor execution, I don't get it. A simple fast burrow move roachling timing is so powerful on xelnaga, while mutas are bad on xelnaga The prime coach needs to be fired, his builds don't make any sense, same with MKP that uses dumb builds and lose critical games.
