In Code A, you've got so many potential winners (they might not be as good as Code S players, but they all have the potential to win.) Code S on the other hand, seems to be like MC as favourite to win. Then there's a steep drop before you get to the Losira's, Nestea's, Marineking's, etc. But then again, if past GSLs were anything to go by, upsets happen. But it's always strange how all the GSLs have a bunch of guys who look absolutely dominant and invincible (Fruitdealer, Nestea, MC, MVP, MC again) only to get eliminated the next season.

![]() This is my first GSL event I get to watch like a normal PC user, before I had to use complicated workarounds with a dozen different steps to get it to play properly. Shout out to GOMTV for adding Mac support <3 Edit: Thought this was the Code S thread, how silly of me.

But I guess they will be some upsets, I, for one, really want to see Jinro (and Huk, why not) break his slump and play some amazing games like before. I want to see July play, too. And MKP. But I fear a lot of my favorite players won't go past group stage, I FEAR ![]() And also, it's kind of how we've seen the players before, and we don't think any of them can really dramatically improve? Kind of like Clide, FD, Inca, those player's who've been there forever but haven't done much lately, and then there are those who are very good, but seem to have reached their peaks (Marineking, Nestea, san). In terms of potential, I'm looking towards only Losira, Supernova and Alicia though. Those three seem to have the biggest potential, but I'm quite worried for Supernova, as he's up against Polt, who he lost 2-0 to last season. If he loses to Polt, he most likely faces MC, and unless some "strategic teamplay" comes into effect, I doubt he can beat him.

For a couple seasons now, everyone thinks Code A is gonna smash Code S, then the actual games come, and it never happens. I don't really know why, but Code S is ALWAYS more exciting to watch, even when everyone acknowledges the potential and talent in Code A.

There's always a lot of cheese in Code A because of desperate new players, that's probably why.

Code S is always on another level compared to Code A. They out expand, out strategize, out micro, AND out macro Code A players, almost without exception.

I do remember two cheese in the row though, both Inca and MC cheesing SanZenith out off GSL Jan group F where Tastosis declare him to be the worst player in GSL ![]() edit. MC is not really a cheese but it lasted less than 10 minutes which by most TL'ers definition counted as one :D
