White Ra get lucky probe in to win game 1 = hell yeaaa MC gets lucky probe in to win game 4 = wow, so lucky :/
Not to mention in TSL...Ra was the first to 4 gate in their series.
Can we stop with the bias now? To be fair, in their previous Match in the GSL Wold Championchip, MC got a lucky probe in the very last game, which managed to plant a pylon next to the ramp (so that units could be warped in above the ramp) before being taken down by Whitera's 3 chronoboosted Stalkers. So I, even though I am a big fanboy of MC, regarded White-ra's lucky probe as kind of poetic justice.
Poetic justice or not...it is what it is lol. Lucky probe either way that could have changed the course of the game regardless it was a White Ra probe or an MC probe. Same with 4 gate, its still a 4 gate no matter if it's MC or Ra pulling it off. And don't give me that bs about probe count either, if a zerg decides to 8 pool and drones after the initial lings, it's still a damn 8 pool. Maybe it's less all in than fully committing but if you're gonna cheese, you might as well try to win with it. Having 28 probes vs 22 in a 4 gate battle with half the zealots isn't being "good" or "standard," it borders on being reckless and not responding properly. And I'm not hating on White Ra either, he's one of my favorite players, it's just that when you decide to cut zealots for probes opening up 13 gate core every game into gas+expo...you have to expect people to try to punish you for it sometime or later. What's MC supposed to do, type NR 20 minutes? and let you get your bases up?

Drop IdrA are you guys crazy? Here is post I made in his fan club as they were fretting and claiming he was not doing his job, maybe it will make sense
A lot of ppl watch idra and more importantly the logos, win or lose. thats why they pay him. would not surprise me if he were not the highest salaried foreigner inspite of poor success. I'm not even a fan and can recognize a marketing machine. In sum you're wrong IdrA is doing the job they pay him to. 7524 worshiping posts, 1525902 views, etc is a testament to that while far superior Zergs like Nestea and Losira have a pittance of fans not to mention everyone else.

On a whole White-Ra can beat anybody no matter of his style of play, but MC for now is the guy to beat...
If whitera 's PvT is the best in the whole world, and he got pulverised by Bomber 8-2 while both played on the KR server... .... ...

Have to agree, personality and character go a long way in garnering interest. Especially when his success isn't actually that poor...What sponsors care about is people who can generate interest, not who can win the most (to a certain extent, you still have to do decent to keep the sponsors which IdrA is for the most part doing).

Superb tournament, could easily be argued that it was the most well run SC2 tournament ever. Casting of Apollo and Demuslim was also surprisingly good and I think this was the first time I actually liked the host for a esports event (not counting IEM host since I don't understand him). On top of that the invited players were all top top level with some amazing matches and fantastic crowd!
On top of all this they had some amazing fan videos playing in the intermissions as well as displaying a real time updated ladder on stream. Interviews 30 sec after the a match ended were all great and I really enjoyed it, the GSL could learn A LOT from Dreamhack, bravo the new gold standard has been set.
5/5 stars

Idra played awesome against TLO, but MC is a god damn monster as you could see in the finals coming back from 2-0.

You know that no one is going to give this post any attention since it discredits White-Ra, and at the same time makes a Korean look good!

am i the only one who was frustrated by the failure that was the the host's interview with mc? sweet tourney none the less, was sad to see idra throw away that first game

Isn't frustration an overreaction? I mean I'm not certain to what you're referring to (the shy interpreter?) however you should calm down.

I just want to congratulate DreamHack people, whoever they are - they all did a pretty good job. The whole thing was quite enjoyable to watch. (Even PvP, yes!)

White-Ra just became one of my favorite players.
