I expect them to be back in the up and down matches.
Rainbow certainly showed some better play in the GSTL. Granted, it was only a few games, but I think he's slowly adapting to the changing metagame.

The last one was quite good and the ones in broodwar is super fun to watch with crossdressing (Leta <3) and people cutting their hair off (Sea lol) and stuff so yeah Im hoping it will evolve like that for the SC2 group selections aswell :D
The only problem is that there aren't any player swaps, which greatly diminishes some of the strategy involved in these player selections. I wonder why GSL chose not to incorporate swaps.

it's not crysis, it's just starcraft

I find it funny that GOM's computers use the computer case "BITFENIX Colossus."
Anyways, it should be a pretty epic group selection ceremony, and with the MSL ceremony running at the same time, it should be a great night for Starcraft pro-scene drama. I hope someone does a ceremony that is even more hilarious than Orange CarameLeta.

most of them play with ''high''.

What's up with that sentence?
"You're not a real fan until you watch SC2 players NOT play" ?
I don't get it
Nevermind, I think I got it.
Watching the nominations (where players aren't playing) is fun. (right? =P)

It seems that although some players, like Idra, Huk, Jinro, and Catz, prefer to play on lower graphics settings, a lot of other players, like iNcontrol, Minigun, and Destiny, prefer to play on higher graphics settings.
Back when Xeph restreamed Korean pro streams, a lot of them play on high settings. I distinctly remember watching oGsTheSTC, oGsMC, and others playing their games on high settings. Also, a lot of the videos of the preliminary rounds from the GSL Open and Code tournaments do reveal that quite a few of the Koreans play on higher settings.

//tx Considering that a lot of the BW nomination ceremonies were pretty epic... + Show Spoiler +http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCqKkx56ifM&feature=player_embedded then I think the GSL event has a lot of potential for awesomeness.
Heck, there was a TON of mudslinging and drama going on during the last GSL nomination event, even though there was little to no actual "ceremony." It's really cool to watch and hear about the pros' decisions live, especially considering that their entire careers may be affected by the few seconds they take to choose their opponents.

Intersting to know the computer specs! Is it normal for big tournaments to provide 24inch monitors? What does MLG for instance provide?

I've got similar specs to the GOM pc's and a nearly identical GPU..
... IT runs SC2 on Ultra no prob, unless I'm full screening a movie on one monitor while playing sc2 in ultra, and running a 4gb document in Photoshop in the background I have little issue. This is more than enough!
