I think Jinro will struggle to make it out of his group; but then again he is Jinro and if he puts in the effort he can make it - Jinro vs Nestea should be very interesting! But Clide is awesome and San - well he plays Protoss and Jinro's TvP isn't stellar..
On another note i hope HuK can do it; but people are always talking about Inca's PvP being out of this world and then their is July and Rain - who is a GSL finalist
Lastly.. i don't see Fruitdealer getting far. He really hasn't been impressive lately. I can see Killer taking him down

Did they changed the prize money or is the LP article just a copy of a PreSeason article?

Zenio is good, but I dont think he'll be able to take games off any of the other 3)
When did Nada beat MarineKing? All I remember is him getting humiliated when he lost games he shouldn't have lost in a million years. No he shouldnt have lost them, that was my point. He beat MKP but didn't know how to handle the base trade situation and massively screwed it up. Twice. I guarantee you he knows how to handle himself in those situations now and it won't happen again.
He didn't win, he lost.
I can guarantee you MarineKing isn't going to lose to NaDa lol, especially now MarineKing is practicing for MVP he's easily gonna beat Nada in a bo1.

The original poster is saying that in those games NaDa was ahead and was in a good position to take both games but did not know how to respond to the base trade scenario that MKP resorted to; he is implying that NaDa could have easily won and should have learnt from his mistakes now

Is there any way to watch this on gomtv.net? I can't find it anywhere.
|
i went to teamliquid's twitter by clicking on the link in the op. tbh, given that teamliquid is a sc community, not a sc2 only community, teamliquid twitter shouldn't completely ignore sc:bw. would have been nice to see them tweet "gsl and msl group selection tonight!" instead of just the gsl. of course they can do whatever they want...
|
Anywhere that I can see a video of when jinro spoke korean? I was in class during the event so I miseed a lot of the selection process, including that

Holy shit, Group E and Group D death groups.

My picks:
MC TheWind Polt SuperNova
sC RainBow Byun Top
HongUn Kyrix Losira Genius
Nada MKP Zenio Alicia
San Jinro Clide Nestea
Lyn FruitDealer Check Killer
Anypro Virus Ensnare Trickster
July Rain Inca Huk

My picks. I feel like group B could go either way really, they're all really solid. sC is a really really good player, particularly vs protoss. I just think Byun and TOP might get there in tvt. Jinro is still a chance to make it through, he'd be better vs NesTea than an aggressive zerg like July, but I still don't think he'll get through. HuK is in pretty big trouble, he was outplayed so badly by inca in those up/down matches that I don't think he can win, but you never know in Bo1s.

Was he serious in that other interview when he said his coach was staying in Code S too long and needs to focus on coaching? -.-; He did, but there is also a good reason to actually pick him. The player you pick is picking next and he has the option to select somebody who can beat you, but at the same time, he feels confident in beating him. TheWind wasn't obviously going to do that and with so many oGs players in Code S, it was obvious, that they would have to go against their team mates on more than one occasion.
There might be more it, but all in all, this is a good plan to make sure, that your best player has the best possible chance to stay in Code S while if TheWind doesn't make it, it's probably not that big of a deal.

Excellent point. Originally I also thought that MC is indeed trolling TheWind, but what you write makes perfect sense. With picking TheWind, he can make sure that the 3rd player will be picked accordingly to the whole team's comfort. With TheWind himself not posing such a big threat to MC, this seems indeed to be the perfect, rational choice.

Not so sure about group B, but for the rest I think I'm pretty close.

sC RainBow Byun Top
HongUn Kyrix Losira Genius
Nada MKP Zenio Alicia
San Jinro Clide Nestea
Lyn FruitDealer Check Killer
Anypro Virus Ensnare Trickster
July Rain Inca Huk
These are my picks. Pretty straightforward with some zerg fanboyism.
HuK will have a hard time, I believe in HuK but those 3 he has to play against. July is July. Inca is a PvP god. And Rain should be a win but who knows, for some reason that guy ends up winning most of the time?
Jinro same ffing story. Nestea and San? I hope he didn't pay too much to Clide. Because with Huk and Jinro in teh same group we would have had 1 guy in the r16.
