I didn't get to watch much of the day 3 stream to see if the idra/huk extended series was aired(if it was it will pop up on the stream loop at some point) but you can get replays of two of the games here:

Group A 1) Naniwa 8) Moonan 9) Slush 16) Tyler
Group B 2) Kiwikaki 7) Idra 10) Huk 15) Machine
Group C
3) Select 6) Socke 11) Drewbie 14) Haypro
Group D
4) InControl 5) TLO 12) Sjow 13) Ret
Hah, perfect groups are perfect. We'll see a rematch between Huk and IdrA for sure then. Also Machine vs Kiwikaki seems to have a habit of being awesome (unless memory fails me the reddit tournament games were second only to Morrow vs Kiwi in being OMFG Awesome). And TLO will be able to get some revenge on InControl. Time to start the countdown I guess!

So you just look stupid trying to take credit for that prediction. why so offensive, what did i do to you? If you go trough the prediction thread not a whole lot of people said PvP finals, and Cruncher havent won any meaningful games, so i wasnt far with that either. Even so, why do you have to bash on me? Are u a cruncher fan and i stepped on your toes, sorry if so.

I don't think single elim is unfair. The biggest issue is one side of the bracket being much more stacked than the other, but it's usually not a huge problem if you have good seeding. MLG's format is bad for everything except making sure that the same players place in the top16 every time. For the finals specifically though I don't think it matters if you have 2 Bo3 or an extended Bo7, it's bad either way. Group play with single elim is the way to go. That way everyone gets the same number of games to the finals and you can have a Bo7 game on equal terms. no one here is going to agree that single elimination is the way to go. Eh, wrong. Single elimination the way dreamhack/gsl had it is the best format imo. It depends on how many games there is for each elimination serie. Sadly many big lan tournaments only have bo3 until semi or even final. Dreamhack invitational coming up I think have bo3 semi and bo5 final which isn't ideal for a single elimination tournament imo. But with a good map pool and bo5 at least from quarter final, I agree that single elimination creates the best viewing experience. And just for the record, I don't think either gsl or dreamhack have the best formats either. I don't like the group system gsl use for the early rounds for instance.
It depends on time available also, Dreamhack inv. have single elimination bo3/bo5 beacuse thay have one evening to get 8 top players play out all their matches for the crowd and stream.

Watch Naniwa replays if you don't know how to 4gate or proxy gate.

That's double elim. Not extended series.

Well, great pic! SeleCT is a total baller, Sjow looks pretty nice too and ofc Naniwa with his incredible run is awesome (tough, and excuse me if I say that, but he really should work on his interview style and wash his hair!)

Awesome picture indeed, dignitas has such a strong team.

I'm so excited to go to Columbus after watching (in bits and pieces) the Dallas showing. I'm actually kind of excited to see Reach played live also. Some of those guys are sick.
ps. Is anyone else buying a team-dignitas hoodie? they're pretty sweet.
