They didn't claim it was live at all. They said they are rebroadcasting and starting at 12:00.

If problems last night were indeed due to traffic surging right before the event kicked off, then today should be better since it's 12 pm CST. I'd say there are only 1/2 - 2/3 viewers as last night until we get later into the evening. Gradual traffic growth shouldn't crash anything.

he did win his first match in the losers bracket, so combined with what everyone here is saying it sounds like he got in late.
Maybe we will see another select like performance and have him play ~20 matches to get into the finals.
