White-Ra did a one-base warp prism build vs a delayed 4-gate /w blink and ran all over him.
The time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted time.

Because it's their job to keep people hyped about the games, not angry. And they were right either way: shit happens, deal with it. They weren't exonerating blame from Blizzard, but sitting there on air whining about it would be unprofessional and do nobody good.

They did the right thing by getting the audience to move on.

Gom is also partnered with Blizzard, and they are employed by GOM, so it would be very stupid for them to talk badly about blizz?

I know why Jinro lost.

He was screwing around with Huk in some 2v2s the night before instead of practicing. Funny games, they were. Huk and Jinro suck as a Zerg+Zerg 2v2 team, especially since Jinro literally does nothing but build drones, mine minerals, build spines, and spread creep. Huk just bad-mouthed everything Jinro did, which was reasonable since Jinro was just screwing around playing Sim City with Zerg.

Anyways, those were my thoughts when I watched Jinro vs July last night. He seemed quite out of shape for that match, which was a shame since he could've been a nice sniper for Nestea. Same thing with Huk, too. Huk would've dominated MVP, and he would've been a strong contender against Nestea.

But alas, the Liquid pair had too much fun with 2v2s the night before.

So can we make up random excuses for every player that loses then? MC was out partying last night like it was 1999.

MVP's slump is due to his new hair color change. Nada is probably spending more time working out his body. White-Ra wanted some other players to play, so he made a bad push against July. July was probably hungry, so he purposely didn't play well against Dimaga so that he could grab a few more Cokes to drink for a few more games.

And Cella is trying to please his TL fan club.

It's all the the semi-metagame, yo.

I'm sad Dimaga has to face off against Nestea in the first round tomorrow, but I'm glad he brought it hard today. Great days of games, only thing that could have been better would have been if Moon/HuK/Jinro had been able to make it a little closer with July.

Agreed. We cannot allow for July to increase his distance form the Earth's surface for fear that he may make drastic and potentially deadly alterations to its orbit, not to mention the sheer release of energy once he lands back down.

I don't think dimaga can defeat the god of zvz but either way great showing from the world team

To be fair Dimaga is easily the god of zvz in europe and maybe even eu/na so he won't be a walkover

Hehe, this post made me smile after watching the ace match.

Nestea is such a god in ZvZ. Dimaga looked like random zerg guy from bnet ladder compared to Nestea.

Also so freakin sad that Mvp dropped. Was so happy to finally witness those BC:s. Was beginning to think they were a myth, glad to see they actually exist in the game.

Fantastic showmatch. Again it was a teamleague that was the best event. After each league I say the same thing: This was the best event so far.

GOM: More teamleagues please
NASL: More teamleagues please
IGN: More teamleagues please
MLG: More teamleagues please

What happen in whiter vs mc? Can't watch void ATM

The headstrong, foolhardy boy got his ass handed to him by the wise, patient master.

WhiteRa started off with a 3gate robo, first getting an observer to stay over MC's base (all game long), while MC opted for 4gate blink (no super fast rush).

WhiteRa had immortals out in time to barely hold off the initial push, despite imperfect forcefields on his own choke. At the same time, WhiteRa had brought a warp prism with two zealots into the mineral field of MC and started taking out some probes (to add to WhiteRa's pre-existing economy lead).

After a bit more aggression at WhiteRa's front door, as well as more probe harrass in MC's base, MC had to retreat and WhiteRa expanded at his natural and started to get colossi with range.

MC got his expasion at his natural much later and was about 35 food behind when the overwhelming push came from WhiteRa, complete with colossi (and the warp prism was still harrassing MC's back). MC got rolled easily.

MC says gg, and WhiteRa does a little ceremony of breaking MC's back with his hands.

Funny how are saying how close this was considering Nestea played last. Cella said he wanted to give a show with who he sent out, and he delivered. He also could've have made this a one sided walk in the park. Foreigners are happy that it only took 5 people to take down July.
