btw why huk so slumping on GSL? he should have beat july so easily.
Lol, having a lead never gives u a win by judge, espessially when both players are 200/200 with mining bases. Noone rational would ever give win to either player there. And why ppl expect amazing results from huk? He is not even on the slump, he got to code A by invite in the first place, i dont believe he would made it by qualifier. Barely got into code S by a miracle easy group (still almost lost). He is just overhyped because he is a stream/att whore and tries to promote himself as much as possible, he doesnt really have skill to back up the reputation he is creating for himself :/ Nate MSL 2009. Jaedong won by decision over an advantage and the number of bases he had. He also won the series against Flash, which also was the Final with the double for Flash to win in line. It has happened. Dimaga wasnt supposed to win, in my eye, but regardless, he won game two.
The two games are not even comparable. Almost all foreigners and Korean progamers including Fantasy reviewed the game and agreed it was an unwinnable situation for Flash. The controversy was how Kespa executed its decision and the chaos that ensured. Only Flash himself thought the game was still doable.
Dimaga's spire is half way finished, had enough resources for corruptors and finished drop tech to bypass the PF wall. Both armies were at 200/200. The game was far from decided.

I bet huk beat mvp tomorrow.

Such Great games. July the master of team leagues?! his mind games were so amazing.

Really interesting game Dimaga/Nestea, i wonder is there any way to hold this low tech +1 timing push without doing the exactly same thing :D

Dimaga would've had enough money to hatch like 20 mutas as soon as his spire popped, and MVP had essentially zero anti-air aside from three BCs. I actually think he had a good chance, he would've sniped all the tanks.

This thread is getting silly. One knows who would have won game 1, it certainly wasn't over.
This is a showmatch, it wasn't a, KOREANS ARE BETTER, or AMERICA>EVERYBODY or some of the crap I'm seeing, it was a match to provide entertaining games. Why the hell do you think MVP went battlecruisers vs Zerg ?
Wait until tomorrow, that will the real tournament to gauge skill. I mean after all, I thought Idra and Jinro had already proved that foreigners can compete with and beat the Koreans, even the top ones?

I know why Jinro lost.
He was screwing around with Huk in some 2v2s the night before instead of practicing. Funny games, they were. Huk and Jinro suck as a Zerg+Zerg 2v2 team, especially since Jinro literally does nothing but build drones, mine minerals, build spines, and spread creep. Huk just bad-mouthed everything Jinro did, which was reasonable since Jinro was just screwing around playing Sim City with Zerg.
Anyways, those were my thoughts when I watched Jinro vs July last night. He seemed quite out of shape for that match, which was a shame since he could've been a nice sniper for Nestea. Same thing with Huk, too. Huk would've dominated MVP, and he would've been a strong contender against Nestea.
But alas, the Liquid pair had too much fun with 2v2s the night before.

Honestly the BCs seemed like a good choice. They were using their Yamato cannon on the ultras and Dimaga had nothing to attack air. He had to use 2 NPs with a handful of infested terrans to take it out. Banshees may have been a better choice, but at the same time they may have been more vulnerable to dying to infested terrans, and wouldn't take down the ultras as fast as yamato did (though banshees obviously have their own benefits). Also, if he overproduced banshees, he would have absolutely nothing for the inevitable mutas.

if anyone would tell me the songs played, I could be really regretful!!

BCs where an extremely wise choice against the infestor/ling/ultra build.
Notice that he literally "sacrificed" his BCs one by one... not two or three but always one at a time. Dimaga had to take care of the singe battelcruisers with his infestors. NP -> spamming terrans -> np Thats a whole lot of infestor energy wasted! If he had uses 2 or 3, there would have been 2 - 3 NP, a lot of shooting between the BCs and more money/gas wasted without draining as much energy as a single BC does.

Anyone know why Tastosis CBA (cover blizz ass) for the infamous game 14 drop?
They all like "nothing we can do about, just happens with technology, etc"
I wish instead of CBA they'd talk about how with LAN like 15 years ago this was no problem even with win95.

All the players they flew in should be proud, they did what they came to accomplish. Win some games. As for the Korean living players...

Because Blizzard are sponsoring GSL? Anyway, things like that happen, how many times have you been DC from Quake Live?

Gah! These games were mind-numbingly amazing!
This is exactly why I'm in love with Starcraft.
Keep up the fantastic work, Gom, Players... Everyone!

So can we make up random excuses for every player that loses then? MC was out partying last night like it was 1999.
