think nada is a bit more trained in stronger delays, but just an assumtions. First time i saw fast bcs. and they were like wooosh ! so awesome. Also terran has some playstyles that work well with a bit more delay.

Howcome its okay for cruncher to bm in game? In GSL he would've been DQ'd for sure -_-;;

Always upsets in TSL but this is like the TSL of upsets -_-;;

Excuse me, what? Idra is the one who ragequit first match, then insulted the guy in chat pregame (there is a picture posted) and all Cruncher did was ": )" in the last game (which Idra also ragequit)

He also disrespected his opponnent before match calling him a walk over, most people would have been much more BM in Crunchers shoes, could have said this

Cruncher: walk over this this you little insert_insult

Instead he just posted : )

With the type of play Cruncher deliver he should not flame. Crushing through TSLOpen with four gates and 3 or so maccro game in the final, then giving us the joy to see a turtletoss on shakuras (and now I understand why they changed the map btw) and a six gate. That's the most boring playstyle of the universe.
Damn what have I done to see Zeerax and not cruncher advancing through, he seems more interesting.

How'd Nada play with such bad lag??????????????????????????????????????????????

NaDa played from the ogs house.

The connection there is a lot better.

I'm not too familiar with how connection works. How does the OGS house's net connection not be as affected by the Japan earthquake compared to the connection of other Koreans? Does it have some special routing?

You latency QQ'ers are ridiculous.

Some say because he didn't play from the OGS house, his lag wasn't as bad as other teams. Some say because he played from the OGS house, his lag wasn't as bad as other teams. How about this instead - you are full of shit and have no clue how much relative lag they had. Go ahead and misquote someone on the lag from Korea, and then hope the actual player doesn't respond (like Jinro did mentioning his views on the Korea latency).

Sorry about that everyone, I am just so tired of complaints on latency here. The games today were excellent, and I loved the casting duo of Wheat and Day9!

This has already been explained. oGs internet connection hasn't been affected too badly by Japan's eartquake compared to the other korean teams.

And it's already been explained that NaDa isn't living in the oGs house so your point is moot.

He is playing the tsl in oGs house.

You mean the same house other Koreans were offered to play in but declined? Oh yeah...

That's why Nada is called the Genius Terran.

I watched almost all games in FXOpen and TSL. And it seems that the ogs players had a better connection. Zenio, Supernova and MC had solid micro so the lag couldn't be too bad, but there were players like MKP who constantly laged out or MVP horrible micro.
Obviously that wasn't the only reason so many korean got knocked out but I simple wanted to share my obvservation.

the OGS house internet connection explanation makes a lot of sense. MC, Haypro, Jinro, Huk.. none of them seemed to have the obvious laggy micro that the other players from Korea did. I don't think anyone said the europeans can't beat the Koreans. Just that lag was an issue.

Much better day of TSL games than yesterday. They had much less controversy since most games were EU vs EU or NA vs NA, and I also thought that wheat+day9 was the best casting tandem so far since wheat lets day do a lot of analysis, and they both perform their roles well.

half the games today were KR vs EU played on NA. the controversy comes from the results not the actual situation.

3/4 liquibets right ;d

Kinda hoped zeerax wouldn't play as bad as he did. But oh well, I'm sure we'll see more of him soon enough, he should get definitely picked up by some team.

I'm inclined to agree with this. I would perhaps be more open to the idea of lag interrupting a player's ability to succeed if sources were proven and critics unanimous (outside of the oGs house, at any rate).

So if he plays a macro game it's boring and when he does a 2base-push it"s boring? What do you expect him to do? Play another race?

People on this site are amazing at finding stuff to complain about. I found Idra to be much more bad mannered towards Cruncher than the other way around. He was also flaming Cloud at the FXOpen after he got destroyed 2:0. So yeah, I was really pleased to see him get knocked out today.
