Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't. |
K honestly im done posting/read this thread lol, its really sucking me in and im saying stupid things to counter the other stupid things other people are saying. Sorry if i upset anyone, lemme just say this.
This picks aren't done, stop complaining until they are. Xeris already stated dimaga will not be in, due to application timing. Let's wait until all 50 players are listed before everyone complains about the picks.
And if anything else, we have an amazing tournament coming up. Would u rather it play out like it is now? Or not play out at all? The committee cannot share the same views as the 100's of angry people complaining in this thread. Let's just enjoy what is coming and stop being so hostile.

Not a cost efficient use of thier time IMO.
Although I must say Kas should be in the NASL but idc that much im so fucking pumped either way
So just because they have GSL they shouldnt be able to apply for any other tournament ?
Are foreigners banned from GSL because they are not koreans ?
GLS is actually so open that anyone can apply for it,even u and me,though ofc we wouldnt get in but not because we are foreigners but because we woudlnt be able to get through qualifiers.

This would make sense if they didn't actually apply....

I'm obviously referring to the "suicide"-comment. And I remember other posts like calling Koreans hard trying to speak English "jibberish".
You are not acting like a team leader should if he wants to be respected (imo).

I am not sure if anyone has brought this up but: I believe NASL contacted some teams before announcing the NASL, so that means they have an obligation to allow players from these teams into the tournament.
NASL should be good even if its not the top 50 players and just like the GSL got better after qualifiers allowed better players in, we should see a similar thing happen with NASL I hope.
If MC doesn't get in he will win that 1000some players tournament or not
|
Did any of the people complaining about dde actually look at his TLPD?
He has done quite well in NA server online tournaments, winning two VT Gaming Opens and five ESL US Go4SC2 Cups. He also finished second in one VT Gaming Open and two ESL US Go4SC2 Cups.
Overall he is ranked 17th in SC2 International ELO, which is higher than many of the selected players that no one had an issue with.
I find it strange that people bash on his selection without even checking his accomplishments. The first thing I did when I saw he was selected was to look him up.

He's acting fine... his players are being dis-respected, and he's saying that they're going to work hard to show they belong there.

glhf~ Man you should not take this that serious. There will always be people complaining. You should just regard this as irrelevant talk by random people on the internet and not answer at all. Btw I am saying this as someone who critisized the Vibe invite.
|
Really NASL? I hope you show some korean names in the last releases, stalife, dde and vibe ??? who are these guys ??? The disappointments regarding NASL keep coming, when NASL was announced I was for sure going to buy HD pass, not so sure anymore though.
|
the lack of koreans makes me sad ah well there is still 10 spots so anything can happen! Still the more sc2 content the better;D
|
anybody know if tlo is planning on playing random in this tourney? Or is he back to terran?
|
YES INCONTROL THE SEXY BEAR IS IN
|
lack of IM, ST, OGS, Slayers players im disappointed :< not really best players in world being invited then?
grubby vs moon will be cool to see tho
and can we get cruncher in division 5 so he can play against idra ^_^
|
So happy for Grubby since he's someone that will become a real boss in SC2 given the oppurtunity and some more time.
|
Yea i forgot to mention stalife i kind of would like to see him in because hes from my city (vancouver) but he works and spends alot of time with his gf, (he said he will not travel to international tournaments because he couldnt bear leaving his gf for a weekend) that isnt the attitude that a pro gamer in the NASL should have. I cant see him practicing super hard for this or taking this tournament that seriously, who knows maybe hell smarten up and hes had some decent acheivments and is usually highly ranked on the ladder id like to see him do well.
I have no idea how xeris is going to justify some of the people in this selection process "well he doesnt have any acheivments but people really liked his application video so,.....(moman)" i mean hes ranked 211th in the TLDP =/

hm, still no combat-x? maybe tomorrow.
