If you took away the names and just listed the achievements, I bet you couldn't even tell the difference between the players everyone is complaining about and the ones that are thought to belong. Half of the deserving players really haven't done jack either but its just their name or team that gives them credibility.

How cool would it be if Artosis hits a Code S/A Korean in the group stage and manages to win. After that... bah they don't do any English interviews in GSL anymore

No one said they were ruining the tournament, im sure they will give us some great games, its just that from all the people that applied for NASL i dont see them in top 50.

Yeah i can understand. But Artosis is really bad actually, well at least he was one week ago. A friend of mine who's only like 3.7k master is like 7-1 against him by doing standard builds (not all-ins) And i reckon iNControl saying Artosis was quite bad too.

He didnt get to code S by qualifying through qualifiers,he got an invite to gsl, as far as i know huk did try to qualify through qualifiers back in past seasons when they were far harder and didnt make it in,Artosis did.

Huk wasn't even in Korea when artosis qualified. Artosis qualified for the first season wich was by far the worst season and he got knocked out in thenfirst round. Not many people were even playing sc2 in Korea at this point

The fact is they are just as qualified as most of the other players that have been accepted. The only difference is, is that they focus on their own gameplay and are under the radar, and focus a little less on becoming a public figure in the game. If the people complaining actually followed them they would understand.

I'm actually really serious, its an opportunity for our players to show that they indeed are capable of competing at this level. I don't see whats wrong with stating that.
And I don't know if you are in the position to state we have no respect, and will never gain it..

These last invites really make me question the selection process the whole thing seems popularity based it's who you know not how good you are lol. How is incontrol going to have time to practice he has dropped over 100 spots in the ladder since the nasl was announced Sooo many disappointing invites even if the last 10 are Korean it won't make up for it.... And if they were then you still missing morrow and Many others. I'd say just over half the invites are reasonable so far

For the tsl all the invites were established players with results why couldnt the nasl have done something like that

The problem is not whether they do or do not have the potential to play at this level, but that there are players who have shown that they can play at a high level, have done so consistently, and are not getting selected while these relatively unknown and untried players are getting a spot. I feel like these are the players who should be competing through the qualifiers as opposed to getting a straight invite.

I feel like a lot of koreans arent gonna be in it simply because why would they? They have the GSL in their homeland why would they travel across the globe for another tournament.
Not a cost efficient use of thier time IMO.
Although I must say Kas should be in the NASL but idc that much im so fucking pumped either way
