Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't. |
I think vibe is a solid Zerg. Watched his stream for a bit and he looked very good.
People need to be OPEN to watching these players and seeing them grow. Also, keep in mind that as we move to season 2 and season 3 that a lot of these players will play themselves out of the league to be replaced by either more KR players or new up and coming NA/EU players that benefit from NASL and MLG and IEM and Dreamhack.
ENJOY this.

Are you saying none of the late Koreans will get in? O.o

Lol, my thoughts exactly! There are still 15 spots remaining but so far the NASL has fallen short of their hype. "Giants will fall"?? Well, where are the giants? So far it's more like an underdog contest spiced up by a few great players. To be honest, the TSL's line up is by far more exciting than the NASL's so far!
Lets just hope that they've saved the best for last. Even though it doesn't seem likely that they would wait to announce 10 korean players during the last three days of announcement. And I think they would at least have to add 10 more korean players to make their promises at least parctialy true.
Edit: now that I think about it, the "Giants will fall" statement is probably true. I mean, if you have only a few good players amoung 50, chances are that one of them will lose to a player far worse than them.

My opinion:
Moman had a hilarious video, but he's not even a top player in Europe.
Stalife? Stalife drops is all I know him from. Didn't even know he was considered a pro.
Vibe who?
Moonglade is an obvious pick, Drewbie is pretty good as well. They deserve to be in. The rest, not really.

There is a difference in late application and late video though as clarified way earlier.. I am pretty sure majority of the koreans handed their application but only made the video quite a while later.
Quite puzzled by today's inclusion as well. At least artosis will bring in viewers. As far as i know, vibe and stalife does not have a large fanbase. So probably this is their way of helping "up and coming NA players/teams"

I hope so or we are going to see Combat-EX in the NASL., after all, he's as good as Vibe on the ladder.

What about Kas ? Did he submited an application in time or at all ?

You deserve a big prize.

If they didn't have the no team-kill rule (unless it was removed), they should have just announced the players and then streamed them picking the groups to get even more interest. And I still can't believe they're announcing players as just a list and not hyping them up, or even mentioning their team (especially as they made it a requirement).
|
Can't wait to see Artosis play Protoss ... I didn't even bother to read the rest of the list!@!213!3123123

Well, Xeris heavily implied that MorroW is in...!
|
Meh I think NASL is being hyped up a bit too much. Sure, the prize money is great, but I can see TSL being a lot more exciting than this. All the pre-announcement hype + revealing one player at a time = overkill. They're trying too hard to make this sound interesting.
IMO, cut the hype crap and get some solid players in, quality of players/game >>>>>> anything else.

I didn't see any application by Kas at all, not even a late one.

Dimaga didn't make the cut? That sucks big time.

Did you get applications with videos before they were uploaded to youtube? I'm asking because while most of the accepted players had videos on march 13th or earlier, there were some accepted that had a later youtube upload date: Sen: March 23rd WhiteRa: March 17th TT1: March 15th BRAT_OK: March 17th Kiwikaki: March 15th
DIMAGA was March 16th

They said a while ago that the actual application being on time was what mattered, not the video.

Dont forget lalush tho even though his bm etc, he has won 2 lan tournaments with good players recently :D
Yeah but at this point, it looks like he is not going to make it in given that at least one of, if not both, Morrow and Dimaga have to be invited for this to have any sort of legitimacy.
It is an interesting idea to divide the representatives by race and nationality/region, maybe they made up some quotas to meet (which might explain someone like Vibe getting picked).

Dimaga didn't make the deadline to submit an application. It sounds like if he had, that he would have been in NASL.

When are they announcing the other 25? Sorry I'm sure I should know this.
Edit cause I'm dumb
