Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

I'm more or less very excited for this. We have a lot of big name/famous players and this will be a good chance to separate the men from the boys and find out who is real deal and who is not. Who of the players is bad? Machine is the 2nd best zerg in the US and proved that at Dallas. Being the best in the US doesn't mean a thing in the grand global scheme of things. Probably safe to say KR > EU > NA for starcraft. That doesn't necessarily mean that Machine isn't a great player. The EU scene is known for a lack of top Zerg players and Machine would definitely be on top in EU as well. There are better and more accomplished players to invite then machine, that's just fact. And like said before eu actually has more top zergs then na... who only has 1 imo.

I think Tyler and Socke said it best on the last SotG - they looked at these players, and not once thought "this is an auto-win, I'll own that guy 2-0 without having to practice earnestly" - and that'S the most important thing, that's the way you'll get good, competitive and interesting games in the NASL. No scrubs here. Either you take every opponent seriously, or you will drop games. edit: also, on a personal level, I'm very happy that 4 German players have already been selected. I hope Goody will be the fifth one to join the NASL. He has the results and the fanbase to warrant inclusion, imo.

And this applies to other players as well. As another example, even though CombatEX is top 200 NA and all, he would NEVER be called, because he is so unlikable and stuff.

The thing is being hated is a form of popularity in itself sometimes people will want to watch you lose so actually if you can get hated enough it works into your favor also.

I don't know how anyone isn't dying to see this league get started. EDIT: The last 5 revealed will include White-Ra and 2 Koreans. iNcontroL will be revealed in the 2nd to last group. I expect to see Tyler, Jinro, and Huk in the next 3 groups.

I already saw iNcontrol slipped a bit of info in this thread wouldn't be suprised if he said something somewhere else ![]() But I'm pretty sure Jinro already said he won't be participating. And I know for a fact neither Jinro or HuK made applications (since they said in the other thread) so unless NASL came and begged them to join I don't see how they'll get in. And I doubt NASL did that.
