[NASL] Players (final) - Page 34

Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied.

Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't.

Didn't NASL say that most of the players will be from NA? From what I see, there are almost no EU and def no Korean players, which was probably their goal in a North American Star League, no?

Plus Haypro is in there and Machine is really good. He's probably the second best NA zerg player, next to idrA, imo

Really psyched for this though :D gogogogo selecT and QXC

lol wut

there are the same amount of players from EU and NA so far.

Wouldnt of picked Cruncher, Darkforce, Moon or Catz myself. Maybe Catz and Moon purely on entertainment level but not skill wise (especially if you're only inviting a small number of koreans since Moon is barely A class level)

That being said, looking forward to a full player list before I judge too much, and it just means Ill be more impressed if they do well, people are way too negative.

Its looking like groups 1 and 5 are the hard ones. They looked the most difficult with only three each, and TLO and Sen are probably the two scariest players that were announced today. Presumably this'll change as more players are announced though.

Well the point of the NASL is to get Esports to grow in NA. they're not going to do that by making GSL 2.0 and bringing over MC to roll everyone. They'll have to make it entertaining for NA viewers, which means mostly putting players that the viewers can relate to in some sense.

Lets get Esports growing over here.

8 Europeans, 8 North Americans, 2 South Americans, 1 Taiwanese, 2 Koreans (SelecT is Korean to)
Definitely no EU players right?

Maybe there'll just be 1 Korean per division.
So Moon, BoxeR, NaDa, MC and July seem like the obvious choices due to their major fanbases and skill.

Would love to see July in IdrA's group since he called him terrible. I'd also hate to see Drewbie miss out with so many other ROOT's in the tourny already!

Anyway the list is really good so far, with many more good players to come, hopefully plenty more TOP foreigners and a few Koreans (no, not 20) will follow

Man, i hope they put another great zerg player (ret and moonglade, i'm looking at you) in group 5 and put the debate of the best foreigner zerg player to rest. Feel bad for socke and cloud though.

Did you even watch IEM? Moon got to the FINALS, where players like IdrA, WhiteRa, Socke, MOOnGLaDe, etc. did not even make it to.

And also, I'm tired of hearing people underestimate Cruncher. There is a reason why he beat PainUser, LzGaMeR, and SjoW (each one 4-1) in the showmatch series.

Long time lurker here but I have to say, all the hating on these invites is simply astounding to me. "What do you mean it won't be the exact same thing that I stay up til 5 in the morning to watch from Korea?!? This is an outrage! All these players are bad, no one could take a single game off a Korean!" A little hyperbole but you get my point. These guys are working their asses off to bring you ANOTHER huge, and from what I understand, free to watch tournament featuring some of the best players around the world and not just those that can get to/stay in Korea for months. I, for one, am beyond excited for all this, I'm new to the pro sc scene with sc2 but having players that I can relate to, and talk to at events will be amazing. You have to understand this IS their tournament that they can run as they see fit, watch what you want with who you want in it, but those that really want to support sc2 and esports in general, will not have to pick between this and all the other amazing leagues that are offered, but will be watching every one that theyenjoy and supporting them ALL however they can.

Also, Machine is going to benefit like no other having teammat IdrA back in the states/more than anyone, imo. Having a teammate like that to theorycraft/practice with can only help, although he show how much of a beast he is at Dallas last year. MACHINE FIIIIIIIGHTING!
